Welcome to our website !
Today I'm doing the Autumn Tag which was created by Georgina from Makeup-Pixi3 and as she tags everyone who has a blog I thought I'd do it since I love Autumn.

For Autumn, what is your...

1. Favourite thing about it?
I love the change of season, although I love summer I feel far more comfortable wearing a big cosy jumper and fluffy socks rather than shorts and a strappy top. I also love the new menu that Costa brings out and I'm currently looking forward to trying the Toffee Nut Caffè Caramella which is on their Autumn menu.

2. Favourite drink?
Either a cappuccino or a salted caramel latte.

3. Favourite scent/candle?
I just love vanilla and cinnamon scents. I do need to invest in some new candles though as I've run out of any vanilla scented ones.

4. Best lipstick?
My favourite last Autumn was Strawberry Daiquiri by Bare Minerals but sadly I've lost it so I've been loving my Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple and my Natural Collection Lipstick in Raspberry.

5. Go to moisturiser?
My go to moisturiser will be my Boots Vitamin E Moisturiser as it really does moisturise my skin well and it isn't too thick that it takes forever to sink in, plus it's a bargain at under £3 as well.

6. Go to colours for the eyes?
I don't really go out of the box so to say with my eyeshadows as I tend to stay with neutrals however this year I'm determined to start using more berry-pinky toned eyeshadows such as the ones in my Sleek Storm Palette.

7. Favourite music or band/singer to listen to?
At the moment I'm loving songs by Bastille and Daughter.

8. Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)?
My favourite outfit would have to be skinny jeans, a simple t-shirt, leather jacket, a thin scarf and some boots. Comfy and cosy but also looks nice and wearable for most situations.

9. Autumn treat? (i.e. a new scarf or bag you have your eye on)
I've been eyeing up a Sleek Lipstick in the shade Vamp and MAC's eyeshadow in Cranberry.

10. Favourite place to be?
Either having a quiet drink down the pub with my friends (whilst freezing!) or in bed with a cup of coffee, wearing my pyjama bottoms and some fluffy socks whilst watching Harry Potter!

I'm just going to tag everyone who wants to do this tag and if you do link it below and I'd love to read it!

As much as I love summer, part of me is glad that Autumn is here. Today has been typical Autumn weather for England, a lot of rain and quite cold. Luckily I've been able to spend my day wrapped up in my duvet watching films and drinking coffee, a good Monday if you ask me. Here are a few of the reason as to why I love Autumn...

1) Warm and cosy clothes
I absolutely love wearing scarves and coats and just wrapping up warm and feeling cosy. I can't wait to invest in some new Autumn and Winter clothes this year, I've got my eye on a few things already which I've mentioned in a blogpost here.

2) Lots and lots of hot drinks
I love going into Costa and seeing the seasonal menu and enjoying a salted caramel latte which is my favourite seasonal hot drink.

3. The change in nature and weather
I love seeing the trees change and the leaves crunching below my feet. Although the amount of rain we get in England can be a little annoying at times, but it just means putting on an extra layer and wearing boots and carrying an umbrella at all times!

4. Darker lipsticks and nail polish
I don't wear lipstick everyday a lot of the time because I'm worried about it sliding down my face if we have an unexpected heatwave like we do sometimes in summer, so when I can wear a deeper toned lipstick, I love it. I'm not that adventurous with my make up but I think a bold lip and a little bit of mascara can really make a difference.

Are you excited for Autumn? What's your favourite thing about Autumn?

I don't think I've ever mentioned this product before, probably because I wasn't a fan of it before recently. The No7 Colour Calming Primer in green. When I first used this, I really didn't like it and so moved back onto my Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer because I knew it worked for me, but when I was looking through my make up the other day I noticed it and decided it was time to try it again.

First of all, the packaging is nothing special but it's practical and although mine is a little grubby (oops, sorry!) it does the job and also as it's a tube, once you've almost finished it just cut it in half and you'll get more product from the tube!

As you can see it does come out quite highly pigmented which is obviously what the name suggests, so it's not a primer that you can wear alone. You do need to make sure you blend it in really well otherwise you could be walking around with green patches on your face, and no one wants that! The consistency is pretty good, it's not too thick that it doesn't sink in, but it's also not watery either.

In my opinion, it really does reduce the red complexion in my skin and gives me a smooth base to apply my foundation and concealer onto. The primer also dries really quite quickly, so I'd suggest applying the primer to sections of your face and working it in that way, rather than applying it all over your whole face at once.

Overall, I find this primer does reduce redness and does provide a good base for the rest of my make up. Although it doesn't give my make up the best staying power, it does what it claims too. The No7 Colour Calming Primer retails at £10.50 which I'd say is a mid-range price for a drugstore primer, but you can also use your No7 voucher which will give you a couple of pounds off when you buy it!

You can also buy a No7 Colour Correcting Primer in Lavender which is for sallow complexions!

Have you tried a colour calming primer before?

So I know this is a little late compared to everyone else's 'back to school' posts, but I've only just started getting myself organised. Technically this is a 'back to university stationery haul' but I'd still buy all of this if I was going to school.

Anyway, so I got all of these from Tesco or Asda as I find them a lot cheaper than WH-Smith's.

Week by week planner // Tesco

I love buying new stationery (that's probably a bit odd, I know!) and I can be quite fussy about what type of pens I like to use, what paper I like to write on etc but I'm really happy with the things I bought.

So from Tesco:
  • Spotted Folder
  • Week by week diary
  • Pukka Pad project books
  • Zebra biros

And from Asda:
  • Papermate Ink Joy biros
  • Hole reinforcer stickers
  • Hole punch (with guide)
  • Film index markers
  • Sticky arrows

I've really struggled finding the links to these items online however, I only bought these items at the end of last week so they're definitely still in stores!

Do you look forward to buying new stationery for school/college/university?

Yesterday I went shopping with my Mum to pick up a few bits for uni and then we went into Asda to have a quick look around. I bought some stationery and a few other necessities for uni but I obviously ended up down the beauty aisle and I picked up a few things.

The first things I bought were from the NSPA range and I'd never heard of this brand before, but there was a 2 for £4 offer on their body products so I thought I'd give them a go. I was torn between buying raspberry and coconut but I chose coconut because I already have a lot of raspberry Body Shop items at home. Anyway, these two products smell amazing.

I've already tried the Coconut Body Milk once after my shower last night and so far I really like it, but I'll keep using it a little longer before I do a full review. It's usually priced at £3 for 300ml which is a bargain.

I then chose the Coconut Body Mist to go with the body milk. This also smells wonderful and the scent lingers as well, which is obviously the point of a body mist but sometimes I find the smell just disappears after a few minutes. This also retails at £3 usually.

Finally, this George Glow Shine Luminous Highlighter caught my eye because I thought it looked similar to Benefit High Beam (which I have reviewed here) and so soon I will do a comparison of the two and a review as well. This highlighter was only £3.50 so we'll see how good it is!

Have you bought any new beauty products recently?

I absolutely love Autumn/Winter clothes far more than Summer clothes because I just love being cosy and comfy. I can't wait until I can buy new clothes and I'm already getting excited about it (that might be a little sad, haha!).

So these are a few of the items I've been eyeing up this month! What are you Autumn/Winter picks?

At the beginning of the month I blogged about how I was sorting through my make up bags and realised that I have far too much make up that I forget about. So I've decided to start a series on my blog called rediscovered beauty products which I'll be doing regularly. It'll include me talking about the beauty products I had forgotten about but have recently rediscovered!

1. Bourjois Health Mix Serum Foundation | £8
I can't find this on the Boots website anymore but it's available on Amazon here. I've previously reviewed this product earlier on this year here but I just forgot about it once I bought a new foundation. However, after using this I remembered why I loved it. It has a lovely scent, easy to blend and gives a good coverage.

2. Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer | £10
Although I like the actual concealer in this kit, I've been using the setting powder most. It just increases the longevity of my concealer and makes sure I don't look oily during the day. I've also reviewed this concealer here.

3. Accessorize Baked Blush in Scandal | £5
This was the first ever baked blush I bought and I loved it and used it everyday for months, but as usual I ended up switching it up with a new product and putting it to the back of my collection. I found it again the other day and remembered how beautiful it looked on my skin. It gives a lovely highlight as well, which saves time in the morning! As with some of the other products this specific shade isn't available anymore, however this blush looks similar and is also an Accessorize Baked Blush.

4. Benefit High Beam | £19.50 (full size)
I've never actually seen a negative review of this highlighter and I adore it. I usually gravitate towards it during the summer months because it just looks beautiful on the skin. I've done a full review of this highlighter here.
