Welcome to our website !
Considering I go back to uni in a month I've been spending a lot of time looking at getting a few bits to update my room. The other week I did this wishlist with a few items but today I'm focusing on what Primark has to offer.

Hanging Heart £1// Pink Candle £2.50  // Earl Grey Tea Light Holder £2.50
Green Supersoft Throw £5 // Fairy Lights £6

Are you a fan of Primark's homeware range?

I start my final year at uni in a couple of months and I'm both excited and terrified, I want to keep being a student forever! I've decided since it'll be my last year in a student house I want to make my room really cute and cosy. I've been browsing online for quite some time for a few things I want to buy for my room and I thought I'd share them with you.

Love Decoration £3 // H&M Cushion £6.99 // Storage Drawers £12
Mug £2 // Coffee Pods £5.49

I will just say that the storage drawers do in fact include 4 drawers but I couldn't fit them all in the photo. I was planning to use these for more makeup storage as the storage provided is student accommodation is limited.

Are you off to uni this year? If so is there anything you're lusting after in particular? Or do you just love browsing home decor like me?

I feel like nowadays no-one really prints out photos, they just keep photos on their phone and put some on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc and forgets about them. I realise I sound super super old by saying that (and I'm only 20!!) but I love getting photos printed out. I can then put them on my walls, in photo albums, give them to people or put them in my journal.

So if you're one of those people who never prints photos out or always does, I have a brilliant offer I had to share with you. All you need to do is download the Snapfish app and you will receive 50 free prints every month for a whole year! You only have to pay for postage which is £2.99 every month which is an absolute bargain.

I've just ordered my first batch of photos, and I will say the photo credits only last until the end of the month every month - am I making sense?! Basically, the credits don't roll over so if you miss a month you've lost the credits!

Let me know if you download the app and take advantage of this offer!

p.s. I am in no way being sponsored or paid by Snapfish for this, I just had to share this offer with you.

UPDATE: My photos arrived and I am so impressed with the quality of the photos themselves as they were all from my iPhone!

I've been quite anxious about posting this as I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way. Despite the title saying 'we all feel a little lost sometimes' I feel my thoughts really are all over the place at the moment. This isn't to do with beauty or blogging but my blog is an outlet for me so I hope you don't mind this post.

I'm about to start my third and final year at uni, and I don't regret a single thing about attending uni but I feel lost. I feel overwhelmed with what this final year will include, apart from the obvious - my dissertation. I'm not sure what I want to do when I graduate, whether I'll follow on to do something completely unrelated to my degree or continue into a career relating to Psychology.

I love my degree don't get me wrong but I don't know what I want to do with it and it fills me with anxiety to think about it. I'm almost 20 and I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life. I know I'm still young but what do I want to do with my life? I have no idea.

I love beauty, photography and Psychology. I've also considered working in a children's nursery which I did for work experience many years ago whilst I was at school. I'd happily go back into education again and complete a course on Child Care (which I almost did instead of A levels) but it makes me so scared. I thought I'd have my life planned out by now, and I don't. I'm lost, so so lost.

One day I would love to have a family of my own, that's always been a dream of mine. I can't wait until the day I become a Mother and have a family. But what do I do until then? I'm nowhere near that stage yet, and I am full of anxiety about everything.

I'm not really sure what direction I was expecting this post to go in, but I'm just hoping I'm not the only one who feels like this. I apologise this post has got fairly 'deep' I guess, but I felt I just needed to say it. It links to my social media is an illusion post because I feel everyone else has their life together, and I don't.

Have you ever felt like this?

If you're in school, sixth form, college or uni you may be revising hard for exams right now which ca be pretty stressful or if you've just had a bad day and you're stressed I have some tips for you.

1 | Light a candle

2 | Make yourself a hot drink
3 | Or have a glass of wine (this is my personal preference!)
4 | Have a bath or shower, whichever you prefer
5 | Have some 'me' time
6 | Listen to your favourite songs
7 | Watch your favourite film
8 | Exercise
9 | Get out of the house
10 | Remember, tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start.

Today is in fact the day of my final exam of my second year of university, and in a few hours I'll have finished my second year which is pretty scary.

How do you de-stress?

I'm sure all you know that blogging can become quite expensive as you're reading a lot of blogs and lusting over tonnes of products that you've seen other people blog about. The odd purchase here and there won't break the bank but it does all add up, so I have few tips for those of you who are blogging on a budget. As I'm a student my main priorities in relation to my money is paying rent, bills, food and of course nights out but I do still like to treat myself.

Plan Your Monthly Budget | It can be a daunting task at first, but once you get the hang of it it really does make a difference. You'll then be able to see how much disposable income you have left after spending it on all the necessities.

Shop Around For Offers | I rarely buy products now unless they're on offer. Boots and Superdrug almost always have some kind of offer on their beauty products, whether it's 3 for 2 or a 1/3 off products and this is the best time to buy.

Loyalty Cards | I love my Boots card in particular as I'm part of their contact lens scheme so I get points monthly anyway. However, I popped into Boots today for my Mum and she managed to buy everything she needed with her points which is brilliant. Points cards are really worth having and they're so easy to sign up to.

NUS Card | This one is specifically for students and those of you who have an NUS card. In Superdrug if you present your NUS card at the till you'll receive 10% off your purchases which is great.

Shop Your Stash | Before you buy new makeup see what you already have in your stash and whether you already have a backup without realising. At uni I have a whole drawer of make up that I'm yet to open and most of the products are mascara, so for now I'm not buying any mascara until I've used all the ones I've got.

Only Buy What You Need | It's easy to see other bloggers talking about the new products that are coming out and want to buy all of them, trust me I've been there. However, if it's a product that won't suit you or you don't really need it, then put it back on the shelf and spend your money elsewhere.

Do you have any tips for blogging on a budget? If so, I'd love to hear them so comment below!

I'm struggling with revision right now and even though my exam is in 2 days time I have no motivation. I know summer is so close and then I'll be able to spend time with my friends and family but right now I'm so stressed and I can't focus properly so writing a blog post is helping.

Right, moving on from the moaning. Moving away from home has made me realise that sometimes it's the little things you miss the most. I mean, I obviously miss my friends and family dearly but here are some of the little things I miss too...

- the comfort of knowing my parents are in the next room if I need them
- my local pub and being only a few minutes from home if I want to leave
- the countryside
- waking up to my cats jumping on my bed and begging for food
- knowing there's food in the fridge, always
- being able to hug my Mum if I want to and not having to Skype instead
- my favourite local coffee shop
- home cooking, oh how I miss proper meals (I can only live off pizza and pasta for so long)

I promise I'll be back to normal with beauty posts again soon!

I've been living in my uni house for about 8 months now and although I can't decorate it huge amounts because it's a rented property, I've added a few little touches to make it feel more like home.

The glass jar is from Poundland, and the other two decorations are from Primark. I find these little touches can change the whole feel of a room. I also have a few sets of fairy lights about my room which are also all from Primark.

Do you have little touches in your own room? Where do you find cute homeware bits?

I've been blogging since 2011 now which is a scary thought, but for all the time I've been blogging I've been gaining an education at the same time. Admittedly, it was a little easier when I was at school rather than now when I'm at uni but I've got a few tips on how to juggle uni/college/school/a job and blogging.

Planning | Write down any possible blog post ideas you have, so if you're stuck you already have a list of post ideas waiting for you. I find this helps when I'm feeling stressed with uni work but still want to blog.

Schedule Posts | This has honestly been a life saver for me. I have every intention to publish a post at 9am a few times a week, however I'm not always up that early or if I am I'm already at uni so scheduling my posts means I don't have to worry. It also means I can have my blog posts covered for a few weeks which means I don't have to panic about my blog whilst I'm frantically panicking about deadlines.

Take Photos In Batch | I've mentioned this before but I don't have my DSLR at uni so whenever I'm home for a few days I make sure I take a lot of photos so I have them ready for later. Having photos already taken, edited and ready to post makes life a lot easier as I find the photography element can be very time consuming.

Taking A Step Back Is Okay | Sometimes I forget this myself, but taking a step back from your blog for a little while is perfectly okay. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and give yourself a break if you need to.

Have you found any of these tips useful? Or do you have any other tips?

Mothers Day is only a couple of weeks away (15th March incase you were wondering) and I have a few affordable ideas of what you may want to buy your Mum. I wanted all my suggestions to be affordable as personally, being a student means I don't have a lot of disposable income (sorry Mum).

I've found Asda has a lot of beautiful gifts, in addition to the hanging photo frame mentioned above this and this would also make lovely gifts.  I also find personalised gifts are always well received, whether it's a mug, a card or jewellery.

Do you know what you're getting your Mum for Mother's Day? Leave me a comment below!

This post doesn't necessarily only apply to those of you who have gone to uni, it might also be relevant to those of you who moved away from home. From my experience moving away from home has been one of the toughest things I've ever done, but it's also one of the best. I'm now in my second year but this time last year I was the most homesick I've been.

The first few weeks can be the hardest because you're still trying to settle in, make friends, be yourself, finding your way around uni and also try not to miss home. Here are a few tips that I hope will help.

1. Keep yourself busy
This may seem like an obvious one, but if you keep yourself busy then you won't have time to think about how much you're missing home.

2. Keep in contact
It can be really difficult to move away from everyone you love, but luckily there are so many ways to keep in contact. FaceTime, Skype, Facebook, Twitter and obviously texting. I FaceTime my Mum a few times a week and I text her everyday and for me, this helps me as I know she's still there and only a few seconds away on the phone. I text my best friends from home a lot and we'll regularly send Snapchats (mostly ugly ones) and drunk phone calls too.

3. Everyone feels the same
Remember, everyone around you will be feeling the same but no one will want to admit it. Speak to your friends about it and I can almost guarantee they will say they feel the same, but they didn't want the first to say it.

4. Speak to your uni
If you're really struggling with it, speak to someone at your uni about it. There'll most likely be a pastoral care adviser there who will be able to help you through it.

5. It's okay to miss home & it's okay to cry
This is one of the most important things to remember. Moving away from home is difficult, and you need to remember that it's okay to be homesick and it's okay to cry about it. Sometimes crying helps release it all from your system.

Do you have any other tips for coping with homesickness?

I thought it was about time I did another post for my Uni Guide Series since I haven't done one in a while. This post will all be about food shopping on a student budget. Now, if you're anything like me you'll try and avoid any talk about finances or budgeting, I tend to bury my head in the sand. However, I have a few tips that I think will make food shopping a little easier for you.

1. Shop Around
I know it's easy to go to the closest supermarket but I find the ones closest to student residence and student houses are always more expensive. For me, that's been Co-Op so I try to avoid doing my full food shop in there if I can. Personally, I prefer Tesco as they have good deals and I get Clubcard points, bonus!

2. Planning
Once you've found where it's cheapest for you to shop, plan what you want to buy first. If you try planning your meals then you'll be less likely to pick up 5 pizzas for a week (although, this is acceptable sometimes just go with it!). I look through my cupboards first to see what I'm running out of and will definitely need.

3. Food Delivery
I find doing my shop online is a lot easier for me. It saves me walking 20 minutes with 10 bags and struggling all the way, and also if a few of you do your food shop together the delivery charge can be split and will cost virtually nothing. I also find if I do my shop online that I find better bargains as they'll pop up telling me what's on offer. Many places also offer you free delivery for your first order if you spend over a certain amount which is even better.

4. Own Brands
Before coming to uni I wasn't particularly bothered about buying own brand or branded, but since being a student I've found I rarely buy branded items. I find most of the own brand alternatives are the same quality if not better than branded, obviously some items I still buy branded, for example nothing will beat Doritos for me!

5. Poundland
This may seem like an odd point to add in, however pop into Poundland and see what you can buy! I often find that they have a wide range of branded crisps, chocolate, coffee, salt, ketchup etc in there which will be cheaper than the supermarkets.

I hope you found these tips helpful. Do you have any tips for food shopping on a budget?

(I've already used this photo but shh I like it and it illustrates my point well!)

I'll be one of the first to admit, staying motivated at university/college/school can be difficult sometimes. I'm now in my second year of my degree which means I have to work a lot harder this year and I have a few tips that might be helpful for you!

1) Stay Organised
This one can be difficult but it's a lot better to be organised from the start. I am currently doing 3 separate topics so I've got 3 different ring binders so I can keep the topics separate which makes it easier to revise.

2) Go to your lessons!
I know this one seems obvious, but trust me it makes a big difference going to the lesson rather than just writing up the notes from a powerpoint. The lecturers do use power points, but they also add verbal information in whilst they're teaching and they're important too. 9am starts aren't the best but grab yourself a coffee or hot drink on the way and that makes them a little easier.

3) Do the core reading as you go
This is something I didn't do last year and it made my life more difficult near the end as I had a huge reading list to get through which was overwhelming. It's a lot easier to keep up with the reading list as you go, trust me! If you know you're up to date with the reading you'll feel more motivated to go to all the lessons.

4) Ask for help if you need it
If you're stuck with something ask your teachers for help! They are there to help you and they want you to achieve the best grade possible. If you don't feel comfortable asking for help in front of the whole class, ask them after the lesson.

5) Take breaks and reward yourself
Don't drive yourself mad by working 24/7 so take frequent breaks. I personally find working for 40 minutes and then having a 10-15 minute break helps me the most and it means I stay motivated to keep going.

I hope these tips helped some of you, if you have any more suggestions leave them in the comments below!

I did a basic stationery haul here not too long ago but I've still been buying a few bits in the sales for my back to uni stationery. I love stationery incase you couldn't tell due to the sheer amount I've bought when I probably don't need any of it! I've found that Tesco have the best deals as they have 50% off a huge amount of products, although this offer ends tomorrow I believe, so if you're interested have a look ASAP!

Have you bought your back to school/college/university stationery yet or are you not a stationery lover?

These are a few tips I learnt throughout freshers last year and I thought they may be helpful to those of you hoping to go to university this September, I'm hoping I haven't missed anything out. These tips are based on my experience of surviving a night out during Freshers and remember to have fun!

1. Before you go out make sure you have the numbers of everyone you're going out with, this way you'll be able to call someone when you're in an unfamiliar club and probably in a new city too.
2. Have a few numbers for local reliable taxis before you leave.
3. Leave a glass of water by your bed for when you come in - okay I say glass but I find sports bottles/plastic water bottles are a safer bet incase you knock it over!
4. Put your keys in a safe place like the zip pocket in your bag so if you do fall over whilst out (it happens to the best of us, especially in freshers!) your keys will still be safe.
5. Never go anywhere alone, we all know girls go to the toilet in pairs anyway, but even to the bar, smoking area, different room in the club make sure you have someone with you!
6. Never leave your drink unattended and don't drink someone else's drink that they've left on the side - both of these seem obvious but trust me, it's important to remember these.
7. Do not leave the club alone if possible and get a taxi if you're going to be on your own, it's much safer!
8. This one really isn't a tip as such, but if you've lost your friends look in the smoking area, even the non-smokers gravitate there usually for a bit of air!

If anyone has any other tips feel free to leave them below!

Always remember to drink responsibly!

I'm really enjoying my University series and I hope you are too! Today's post is about university preparation tips, as always these are just what I've found helpful for me and are based on my own experience and I'll soon be going into my 2nd year!

1. Find a Facebook group for your university and join the freshers one, I'm sure a lot of you have already done this or will do this as soon as your results come out, but it's so helpful to join these groups! A lot of the posts are asking what halls everyone's in, what course everyone is doing and there may even be a separate one for your halls so try finding and joining that too.

2. Find a supplies checklist on your university's website. Some university's advise you not to bring stationery for example as they know you'll be given a lot of freebies at the fresher's fair, so finding out what your uni provides in your halls and rooms is vital so you don't waste money.

3. Talk to your flatmates and get to know them whilst doing this you can also figure out if there's any communal items you can all bring, for example a toaster.

4. Find out which freshers events are best by speaking to older students. They'll be able to tell you which freshers tickets to buy and which are the best nights and which are the clubs to avoid.

5. Don't buy expensive cutlery, okay this seems a little odd but trust me it will go missing! I'd suggest going to Poundland and buy it there, it does the same job.

6. Don't take your entire bedroom with you as tempting as it is, you won't have room. I made this mistake and my room was far too cramped and messy but take what you really need and some decorations and photos from home too.

7. Enjoy yourself and don't panic too much. You'll have the time of your life, embrace it!

Does anyone else have any tips they'd like to share?

As you can see I get my photos printed out quite regularly but always forget to put them into photo albums, oops.

A massive congratulations to everyone who got into university this year, I hope you're all really excited! I have a University Guide series I'm doing which I will be posting over the next few weeks so if you have any specific questions or topics you want me to address, just let me know!

Anyway, today I'm talking about one way of decorating your new room. Most universities don't allow you to use blue tack on the walls, but I used white tack last year and had no issues.. If your uni is really strict and won't allow anything on the walls you could always put these photos up on a pin board!

Last year I had photos all over one of my walls and it made my room feel so much more like home, the best part was I got free photo prints.

I chose to get mine from Photobox which is a company I love. I paid £2.99 for delivery and I had 50 free prints. Also if you refer a friend to join up and they use their free prints you also get 50 free prints for referring them so it's a win win situation for you and your friends!

Snapfish also offer 40 free prints if you sign up and you only pay £1.99 for postage. I've also used Snapfish in the past and they're a good company too.

Jessops Photo is new to me, but if you register you will be sent a voucher code for 100 free photo prints. You read that right 100 free photo prints! You also pay postage which is £2.25. I'm about to place my order using my 100 free prints so when they arrive I'll update you all on how the photos are!

There are a few websites you can get free photo prints from and there's nothing stopping you from signing up to each website and claiming your free prints from all of them!

Bic Cristal Biros £1.50 // Tesco Biros 30p // Record Cards 80p per pack

I absolutely love buying stationery and I've spent most of my day watching back to school stationery hauls on Youtube so I thought I'd share with you the few rings I picked up in Tesco yesterday. I only bought the basics as I was in a rush and I still have some supplies left out from last years stationery haul and I've bought plenty throughout the year so I may do a whole post on everything I'm taking back with me.

The Oxford notebooks and refill pads were on offer which is why I bought them now as the paper quality is amazing and I'm really quite fussy when it comes to paper. I just bought some basic biros as I always use black ink and having new pens is always nice. Finally I bought some record cards for only 80p per back, absolute bargain. When I was coming up to exam season last semester I couldn't find cheap record cards anywhere and ended up spending almost £10 on 3 packs so I'm stocking up now!

Do you love back to school/uni stationery or is it just me?!
