Welcome to our website !

I'm finally home from uni for the summer and this weekend it was a bank holiday which is always nice. I went to the pub with a couple of friends last night but today the weather was horrible - typical English weather! However, I'm now sat in bed all cosy watching Made In Chelsea which is intense as always!

What have you done this bank holiday weekend?

This week may have been really stressful but me and my friends had a bbq in the park on Sunday followed by drinks on a roof top terrace and it was pretty much a perfect day! I also had my final exam for this year on Wednesday so I'm going home for summer!

This week I came home for one of my best friends birthdays and it was lovely to be home. I'm about to go back to uni in about 30 minutes and I've still not packed (oops!). I can't wait for summer now, I'm just hoping the weather stays sunny!

I was reading Hayley's blog which I do regularly and if you don't follow her already I strongly suggest you go and do so now! Hayley's new post 50 Fail Safe Blog Post Ideas is one of my favourite blog posts I've read in a long time and I've taken inspiration from this. One of Hayley's suggestions was to do a post on where you'd love to travel to, so that's what I'm blogging about today.

I don't travel a lot, in fact I've only ever been on a plane once in my life and I was a huge panicking mess and it was not a pretty sight for anyone! Me and travelling don't get on well, considering I have quite bad travel sickness and sometimes a 20 minute car journey makes me feel ill, but putting all that aside I would love to travel.

1| Cornwall
I know Cornwall is a place where most people in the UK visit or have visited, but I've never been and it looks so beautiful. It's about a 4 hour drive away from me and hopefully when I can drive I'll have a road trip down there.

2| Yosemite National Park, California
I wasn't aware somewhere as beautiful as this existed until I read Hayley's post but after seeing it, I googled Yosemite National Park and wow. It's one of those places that would be absolutely breathtaking when you were there.

3| Dublin, Ireland
I have a lot of family in Ireland, but I still haven't managed to visit yet which is quite sad. However, I've been told by my parents and brother how beautiful Ireland is and I'd love to go and visit one day and I'd get to see family too!

4| New York
This is so cliché, but I would love to travel to New York and especially go to Central Park. I don't think I need much explanation for this, it's New York after all!

5| Sydney, Australia
I also have family in Australia so I'd obviously visit them for a considerable time if I ever went, but even before they moved there I'd wanted to visit Australia. It's just a shame it's a 24 hour long flight and it's not cheap! Maybe one day though, we'll see!

Where would you love to visit?

Whilst I was home for Easter I was looking through the make up I didn't take to uni with me and found a few gems that I'd forgotten about. Previously the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder had broken me out so I stopped using it, however this time it works perfectly on my skin and I'll definitely purchase this in future rather than my MAC MSF Natural.

I'd forgotten how beautiful this Urban Decay Foreshadow Palette is and it's so easy to wear and the shades are beautiful, although admittedly I don't use Flipside (the green shade).

I don't know how I forgot about this beautiful Revlon Balm Stain in Honey but it's gorgeous for everyday or wearing on a night out with a smokey eye. It doesn't leave a residue on your lips once it's worn off and is so easy to apply.

Have you rediscovered any products recently?

The highlight of this week was definitely these beautiful flowers. I was having 'one of those days' and everything seemed to be getting on top of me, until these arrived. They're stunning and my brother sent them to me for getting a 2.1 in my last assignment (which was stats and I hate maths) and I was really proud of myself and he was too!

I was in Poundland the other day and I noticed that they had a nail varnish remover that looked very similar to the Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover. I decided to pick it up because if it was rubbish I had only spent £1 on it, however I was very pleasantly surprised when I used it. I love it!

It works in seconds and doesn't leave my nails feeling dry or brittle or too greasy. I really do recommend this and I'll definitely be picking up some more soon so I can stock up!

Have you tried the Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover or any other dupes?
