Welcome to our website !
For my birthday this year my Aunt bought me the Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make Up Remover which I hadn't tried before. I do love the Simple range though since I can have quite sensitive skin, especially in the winter. Anyway, I've only just got round to trying out this make up remover as I still had my make up removing wipes to use.

Although this is only a small travel sized bottle (50ml) I do use a fair amount of product each time I take my make up off. I just apply some of the make up remover to a cotton pad and wipe off my eye make up. This is by far my favourite eye make up remover of the ones I have tried. Mainly because it doesn't irritate my skin and this is especially important to me as I do wear contacts everyday and I don't want my eyes to be more irritated than usual.

I have read quite a few negative views about this product saying it doesn't remove waterproof mascara but for me, it does. I'm not sure whether this is because I use quite a lot of the product at once or whether it's just different formulation of the mascara.

The full size version (125ml) is available at Boots for £3.39.

As I'm sure many people will agree, ELF can be hit and miss with their products. However I do have a lot of their products which are amazing for the price. One of them is the Eyebrow Kit from the studio line.

So this is the eyebrow kit, I do apologise that mine isn't in the best condition, but it does get used everyday!

First of all the packaging, it's pretty sturdy which is great for when I chuck it in my make up back, and also the mirror comes in useful. I usually just use the brush that came inside as it's easier than carrying around extra brushes. As you can probably tell I mainly use the waxy side as it works better for me.

It keeps my eyebrows in place all day and lets me fill them in slightly. Mine is in the shade 'ash' which is the lightest shade, and even though my eyebrows are quite dark I prefer not having completely full eyebrows.

Overall, I would suggest if you haven't already, that you try this. Especially as it's only £3.75 and so isn't too expensive if you don't get along with the product. I shall definitely be re-purchasing this once I have run out as it is so inexpensive and a brilliant product.

In Glamour Magazine last year I got a sample size of Benefit's High Beam Highlighter, admittedly that was the only reason I bought the magazine because I wanted the sample. Although I am so glad that I did, because I love this product so much.

As you can see it gives a subtle glow on the skin, but it's not over the top. I think I would buy the full size of this or maybe ask for it for a present for Christmas. It is fairly expensive at £18.50 for the full size version, however it is so pretty and works perfectly for me and stays on all day.

In a blog sale a few months ago, this palette caught my eye and I thought I'd try it out since I'd never had any Urban Decay products and I've always heard good reviews about them. I don't think this palette is available anymore, so that might not be useful but you can buy it from here on Amazon

(From top to bottom - Flipside, Midnight cowboy, Stray Dog and Oil Sick)

First of all the palette is pretty to look at, as ridiculous as that may sound, to me the packaging of products is very important. There is a mirror at the top of the palette too which can come in handy. The only thing I don't particularly like about this palette is that the eyeshadow does get over the rest of the palette, but that's not a massive issue.

I can say I absolutely love this palette, the shadows are so pigmented, and in the swatch I hadn't used a primer, so if you use a primer they're even better. I will be honest, I don't think I'm going to get much use out of Flipside however, the rest of the colours I will use a lot. If I'm in a rush I'll just apply Stray Dog all over my lid and add a bit of eyeliner and mascara and I'm done for eye make up.

I would recommend buying this, and I'll definitely look into purchasing more Urban Decay products in the future.

A while ago I purchased this blush from a blog sale. I knew these weren't available in the UK so I wanted to try it and see if it was a good product. I can't remember the exact price because it was a blog sale, however you can buy them from eBay.

When I found out these were called 'Dream Bouncy Blushers' I assumed once you'd used the product, that it would return to it's original shape, however this is not the case. You can see from the photos above, that it just flattens out.

Anyway, I still do really like this blush, it has fairly good pigmentation if you swatch it a few times, otherwise it can be used as a sheer blush which also looks nice on the cheeks. I got mine in the shade Hot Tamale which is a lot darker than I would usually use for a blush, but like I said you can build up the colour. It's a shame these aren't avaliable in the UK since I would love to try out other shades.

I just apply this with my fingers as I feel it's easier than trying to use a brush. I have tried using a brush, but it didn't pick up much product, so it applies better for me if I use my fingers. It is a very creamy and blend-able consistency so it's easy to work with.

Earlier on in the summer Glamour Magazine were offering free samples of Benefit Cosmetics. I chose magazines with POREfessional and BADgal Lash Mascara. I did a blog post on these items when I first got them. Now I'm going to be reviewing the primer as I've been using it for a few months.

First of all I love the packaging, it's cute and not just plain and boring. The only thing that I didn't expect was that the primer wasn't clear, because all other primers I have used were clear.

Benefit say that POREfessional can "Quickly minimise the appearance of pores & fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin!"

I personally am not sure whether it smooths out fine lines as I haven't noticed a difference, although it definitely did minimize the appears of pores for me. I was also pleased that after using this product I didn't break out, since sometimes I can have quite sensitive skin.

Overall, I do love this primer as it makes my foundation last a lot longer and it does smooth out my skin and give it a silky feel. I would recommend this primer to anyone who is looking for a new one. On the other hand it isn't cheap, it does cost £23.50 for a full 22ml tube.

The other at work I decided to go into Boots on my lunch break and spend some of the money I'd earnt that day. Since they had a 3 for 2 offer for all Rimmel products I chose to buy some new make up.

First of all I bought a new nail varnish (405 - Rose Libertine) which I'd heard about before, it's such a pretty colour and the fact it claims to dry in 60 seconds made it more appealing because I hate waiting for my nails to dry. It was only £3.69 as well, which is a really good price. I've worn this already and it does dry very quickly and stays on the nails for a good few days before chipping.

This next product is the main reason I chose to buy Rimmel products. I've heard so many good things about their Stay Matte Powder so I thought I'd give it a try and see if it is worth it. It was only £3.99 which is a lot cheaper than the Mac MSF Natural I bought recently. It seems to be a good powder so far and does keep my skin matte throughout the day. I'd definitely recommend this as a drugstore powder. I have mine in 01 translucent since as I always say I'm so pale.

Edit: As much as I love this powder, it appears to have broken me out, so I don't think I can keep using it anymore.

Finally this is the third product I bought from Rimmel. I've purchased this Soft Khol Eyeliner before and love using it for my tight line to make my lashes appear thicker. My current one is getting small and this was a good time to purchase it whilst the offer was on. I have mine in Jet Black and it was only £2.99 so this is the product I got for free.

I also wanted to buy a new liquid eyeliner, and I saw this Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner from Collection 2000. It claims to last 24 hours, and even though I don't think that's true, it does last all day when I wear it (about 7/8 hours).
