Welcome to our website !

Whilst I was home for Easter I was looking through the make up I didn't take to uni with me and found a few gems that I'd forgotten about. Previously the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder had broken me out so I stopped using it, however this time it works perfectly on my skin and I'll definitely purchase this in future rather than my MAC MSF Natural.

I'd forgotten how beautiful this Urban Decay Foreshadow Palette is and it's so easy to wear and the shades are beautiful, although admittedly I don't use Flipside (the green shade).

I don't know how I forgot about this beautiful Revlon Balm Stain in Honey but it's gorgeous for everyday or wearing on a night out with a smokey eye. It doesn't leave a residue on your lips once it's worn off and is so easy to apply.

Have you rediscovered any products recently?

At the beginning of the year I blogged about Revlon Lip Products I bought. One of the products I've been reaching for recently is the Lip Butter I bought in Stawberry Shortcake. They're currently £7.99 in Boots, however I did buy mine for £5 because like I've said a few times I hadn't previously been too fond of lip products. Saying that, I do really like this lip butter.

This swatch is after only applying it lightly however you'll see in the photo below it is very build-able.

The difference between the two swatches is quite noticeable but like I said it's build-able which I love.

First of all I love the packaging and how it has a quilted looking design on the lipstick lid. There is also quite a large range of shades available so I'll definitely look into buying more when I next go to Boots. The first thing I noticed when I applied this for the first time was how moisturizing it is, which is why it's so quick and easy to apply. You don't need to worry about using a mirror to make sure you don't get it all over your face which is always a bonus if you're in a rush! The only 'downside' to this is that because it's so moisturizing it gets used quite quickly (I took all of these photos the day I bought it so you could see what it looks like before it's used).

As you can see from the swatches the colour is easy to build up to a brighter pink, but if applied lightly is just a slight bit of colour added to your lips so you can adapt how you apply it to suit the occasion. I've been using this a lot recently because it's just a lovely everyday wearable colour. I'd definitely recommend you'd try these if you haven't already!

What are your favourite shades from the Revlon Lip Butter range?

I went into Boots the other weekend and saw that they had an offer on selected Revlon products. Since I'm not usually a fan of lip products, I thought buying them on offer would be best in case I didn't use them. However I have loved all of these products so far.

First off is the Revlon Colourburst Lipgloss in Strawberry Fraise. I've never liked lipgloss at all, I never wear it because I just find it sticky and to be honest a bit annoying, however with this it's completely different. It's not sticky and I love applying it over other lipsticks just to give my lips a shine. It's also on sale for only £5 instead of £7.99. The colour is gorgeous (swatches are at the end) and it has a slight shimmer to it.

Next I bought the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lipstain  in Honey. I'd seen a lot of reviews on these, but I never thought I'd wear anything on my lips (apart from my Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick) but this is such a beautiful 'my lips but better' colour and is easy to wear. Once again this was only £5 instead of £7.99, so another bargain!

Finally I bought a Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake (I'm extremely behind everyone else in trying these out, I know!). There wasn't a wide selection of shades in the Boots I was at because it's fairly small, but I preferred this colour over the others. It looks like it'd be a barbie pink, but it's actually quite subtle and build able as everyone else says. This was also £5 instead of £7.99.

  2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain
  3. Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter

Have you tried any of the Revlon lip products? If so, what would you recommend?

I need to buy a new foundation but as i've never tried revlon photoready or revlon colour stay i have no idea which one to get?!

The reviews on the colour stay seem to say it has better coverage however...

the revlon photoready is meant to last for hours! So i'm completely unsure on what one to buy, they both cost the same, so please can someone help me on what to buy?!

I've got combination skin if thats any help?
