Welcome to our website !

I popped into Superdrug after uni the other day uni and I couldn't resist buying a couple of new lip products! I've not looked at the MUA stand in a while so I was excited to see a lot of new products.

Top - Luxe Velvet Lipstick // Bottom - Shade 1 Lipstick

Luxe Velvet Lipstick - Dare

This is the product I was most excited about and I haven't been disappointed. It's a beautiful deep shade that's perfect for Autumn/Winter as you can see in the photo above.

Lipstick - Shade 1

This is an amazing red shade, and the best part is it's only £1!  I can't believe how pigmented this is considering it's so cheap. I really do recommend this if you're new to red lipstick or just fancy buying a new one!

Have you bought any new beauty products recently?

MUA Pearl Eyeshadow - Bronze // ELF Eyeshadow Primer

The other day I popped into Superdrug to browse and this eyeshadow caught my eye. I've not bought any MUA products for a while but I'm so glad I've picked this up, it's my new favourite Autumn eyeshadow.

The swatch above is from just one swipe of the eyeshadow, so as you can see it's extremely pigmented, especially for the bargain price of only £1. I either apply this all over my lid or for a more subtle look I just apply it to the outer corner, either gives a gorgeous look.

I really do urge you to at least swatch this shade if you don't already own it!

What's your favourite MUA product?

I'm not usually one for changing up my nail polish every week with a different colour and throughout this year I've had Essie's Bahama Mama on my nails, as featured here in my NOTD post. However, now it's summer I'm more prone to changing up my nail polish and these are my 5 picks for summer. All of them are £5 or under which means they're all a total bargain!

I'm sure I'll end up buying a few more over summer but this is what I'll be sticking with at the moment.

What's your favourite summer polish?

This is just a super quick post to say that on the MUA (Make Up Academy) blog today they announced that you can now buy FashionistA make up on the MUA website and there's currently up to 60% off! As soon as I saw this I ordered a few bits because I'd been interested in buying some FashionistA products for a while, but I'd not got round to it so I thought the best time to try products is when they're on offer!

The blushes are currently on offer for £1.65! I mean, who can say no to that?! They're still extremely affordable at their full price of £4 but £1.65 is a bargain!

Back in February I blogged about the products I bought from the MUA Undress Your Skin collection and overall I am very impressed with the range. I have been using the Undress Your Skin Flawless Skin Primer every single day since I bought it, so I thought it was about time I made a review post about it.

The packaging is plain and simple, but I quite like it, it means I'm not wasting money on unnecessary fancy packaging (although sometimes it is nice!), I like that it has a pump too because it means I can just use one pump for my whole face which means I waste less product.

You get 15ml of product for £5 which is a bargain price since this is a very good primer. However, this may not be a favourite for everyone, since it is a silicone based primer, but for me I have no problems with it, but keep that in mind if you're looking to pick it up. I've been applying this under my MUA Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation (which I have reviewed here), and it definitely makes the application of the foundation a lot smoother because my base is smooth, and increases the longevity of it.

I am really loving the new MUA products that have been released recently and I'm sure I'll be re-purchasing this when I've finished it, since I prefer it to my Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer which was a previous favourite.

What's your favourite primer?

Last week I blogged about the new MUA products I bought. I'm always trying out new foundations since I've not found one that is perfect for me, just yet. However I do absolutely love the new Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation, I got mine in the lightest shade which is Porcelain. I was honestly so surprised when this arrived that it's actually pale enough for me to wear, I was risking it slightly by buying a foundation online since I am so pale but this is perfect. It's also only £5 which is an absolute bargain and a lot cheaper than most drugstore foundations.

Before I apply this, I use my MUA Undress Your Skin Flawless Skin Primer so I have a smooth base. To apply this  foundation I use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush from the Core Collection. It's so easy to blend in which I love and it gives me a medium coverage. I have worn this foundation without powder afterwards and with powder, I personally prefer to apply powder afterwards simply because my skin can get a bit oily, but even without the powder it still looked good on my skin. I do agree with the claim that it illuminates your skin, but not over the top it just gives a subtle glow.

I am so impressed with this foundation, I hadn't read any reviews before I bought it but since it was on offer when I purchased it I thought I'd try it out. I'm sure I'll re-purchase this when I finish this tube. That's another thing I was slightly concerned about before it arrived, the fact it's in a tube. I'm so used to having foundations with pumps, but I don't find it being in a tube an issue for me, I almost feel safer with a tube so I know I'm not carrying a glass bottle around in my make up bag that could smash (I can be quite clumsy oops).

All of the products I have tried from the new Undress Your Skin range are wonderful and I'll be doing reviews on the rest of the products in the next few weeks! I think MUA have done really well recently with the new products they've released and they've still kept the products at such affordable prices.

What's your favourite MUA product?

Yesterday I blogged about the new MUA products I'd purchased and so I wanted to try them out so I can do reviews soon. Therefore, most of the products I've used today are MUA.

| 1) MUA Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation ~ Porcelain | - £5
So far I'm enjoying using this foundation as it's easy to apply and blends in nicely which makes all the difference when I'm trying to do my make up in a rush.

| 2) MUA Undress Your Skin Flawless Skin Primer  | - £5
This primer smooths out my skin considerable amounts although I'm unsure on whether I prefer my primer to have a pump like this one does.

| 3) Pro-Base Conceal and Brighten Kit ~ Porcelain - Beige | - £3.50
This kit seems to have a very creamy formulation which I love because it makes application and blending so much easier.

| 4) Undress Me Too Palette | - £4
I used a few shimmery shades and so far I'm really impressed with the pigmentation.

| 5) Collection Skyscraper Mascara ~ Black | £4.99
I've been loving this mascara for a while now and I love it, it's so affordable and doesn't clump.

| 6)  Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara ~ Superjet Black | £10
I am also loving this mascara, it adds so much volume to my lashes and isn't impossible to remove at the end of the day like some of my mascaras are!

| 7) Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder | £3
This highlighter is just so beautiful in pan and on cheekbones. I think this may become one of my favourite highlighters!

| 8) ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit ~ Light | £3.75
I first bought this eyebrow kit a while ago and I have honestly used it every day since and I have hit pan so I really need to re-purchase it. I only use the wax side as I feel that's enough for my brows.

| 9) ELF Cream Eyeliner ~ Black | £3.75
I go between my Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner and this cream eyeliner. I chose the cream eyeliner today since I bought a new MUA Eyeliner Brush. This eyeliner stays on for hours with no smudging at all.

I apologise for having two hauls in a row but I made an order from MUA (Make Up Academy) Tuesday afternoon and I was surprised when my make up had arrived this morning, meaning it only took two days! Some of the items I bought were on sale, so I'll put in the prices that I paid.

First of all I purchased the Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation in Porcelain which was only £3. There were only 3 shades available (Porcelain, Beige and Golden) and so obviously I went for the lightest shade since I'm quite pale. I'm going to be trying out these products today so I can do reviews on them!

To go with the Illuminating Foundation I bought the Undress Your Skin Flawless Skin Primer for £3. I absolutely love my Rimmel Primer but I thought I'd try this primer so it's on offer. So far I love the packaging from the new 'Undress Your Skin' range.

The final item I bought from the 'Undress Your Skin' range was this Highlighting Powder which was only £2. I love trying out new highlighters since I think they can really change how your make up looks and the product in the pan looks gorgeous which is why I wanted to try it!

Next I bought the Pro-Base Conceal and Brighten Kit for £3.50 in Porcelain - Beige. I was drawn to this because on the MUA website it claims this kit "conceals discolouration, imperfections and redness" and so I'm excited to try this out!

Finally I got my hands on the new Undress Me Too Palette for £4. I know this is meant to be a dupe for the Naked 2 palette and a follow on from the MUA Undressed Palette which I featured in a haul last summer and since I loved that I was eager to buy this. So far I'm liking the new white packaging, change is nice sometimes.

I also bought two brushes, the first being the F2 Stippling Brush which was only £3. I like that this is a smaller stippling brush than my ELF Stippling Brush. I also think it's good they have numbers and letters for the brushes so they're easy to find on the website.

Finally, I bought the E4 Eyeliner Brush which is a bargain at only £1.50! I found this a bit more difficult to photograph so I apologize the photos are of it separated but I thought the fact it can separate and the handle becomes a cover is also a useful factor of this brush! I really needed a new eyeliner brush for my gel eyeliner and I couldn't resist at only £1.50.

Have you tried any MUA products recently?

First of all thank you to everyone who follows me, I have finally hit 100 followers! I never ever thought anyone would follow me but I am so grateful!

So anyway, this is just the make up I've been wearing on a daily basis recently.

In August I made a blog post about the MUA products I had bought. In that post I mentioned the Every Lash Mascara in black and it costs £3 (at the time it was £2 because it was on offer). I started using it this month, so I thought it was about time I did a review.

(Please excuse the horrible bags under my eyes)

This is the mascara when I've applied two coats. It supposedly smells of apple, however I didn't notice it until I read about it on the MUA website. I'm not particularly bothered about a scented mascara since it's on your eyes and no one can tell anyway! Overall I do think this is a great everyday mascara as it lengthens the lashes and gives them some volume. If I want fuller lashes I will apply a coat of Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara. Although when I first tried this I wasn't a massive fan of it, but since I've been applying it from the root of my lashes (I'm sometimes too lazy to do this) it works a lot better.

Has anyone else tried this mascara?

xx
MUA (Make Up Academy) is probably the cheapest brand of make up that I know of, and the products are excellent quality too. There's quite a few products that I really want to buy, but can't afford it right now so I've made a wishlist instead.

Everyone has been raving about BB Cream's for a long time now, but I haven't got round to buying one, mainly because I'm worried it won't give me enough coverage and I have quite bad skin. I didn't want to waste money on one that wouldn't work for me, so I thought the MUA BB Cream would be a good place to start as it's very reasonably priced at £4.

If you've read my recent post about my ELF Eyebrow Kit you will know that I have hit pan and will soon need to buy a new eyebrow kit. I haven't seen many reviews on this, but I'm willing to give it a try and for only £3.50 it isn't a huge investment.

I put this on my 'wishlist' mainly because it looks pretty, and the previous bronzers MUA have brought out have all been too dark for me. So because this has different shades I'm hoping it'll suit my skin tone more! Once again, extremely cheap at only £3.

I don't have many cream blushes in my collection, I'm sometimes worried that I'll apply too much and look ridiculous, but this blusher isn't quite as bright as my others, so hopefully I'll be able to make it work.
Only £2 as well.

Finally I'm interested in trying out these Nail Constellations in Gemini. I've always wanted to try out this look on my nails, but I've never really got round to doing it, so I think now this is available in the drug store, I'll give it a go once I have money. For only £3 you can't really go wrong either.

All of the photos used in this post were from the MUA Online Store and I do not own the images used.

About a week ago I made an order from the MUA online store and I only purchased a few items but I thought I'd do a haul anyway. They were having an offer for £1 off selected items and so I took advantage of this.

So the first item is their gel eyeliner which is a new addition to their range and since I needed a new gel eyeliner I thought I'd try this and only for £2 (£3 usually, but with the £1 off offer - which is still running).

I also bought an eyebrow pencil which was £1. However, the only downside about this I would say is that there are only two shade options, blonde and brunette. It seems very pigmented so far though, and I'll be trying it out soon.

This mascara was the main reason I wanted to make an order in the first place. I was in need of a new mascara and didn't want to spend a lot of money on it, considering I recently bought MAC msf powder. Anyway I'll being doing a separate post on what I think of this mascara but it was only £2 and I got it in black.

Finally I got round to ordering the new Undressed Palette which everyone has been talking about. It is meant to be a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette and instead of paying £36 for it, I got a cheaper version for only £3. Anyway so far it looks like I'll get a lot of use out of this palette as it's fairly neutral and has some beautiful colours in it.

Hope you're all ok xx
