P.S. Lip Liner - £1 each

A few months ago I ventured into the world of Primark beauty for the first time in years. I remember a good few years ago they used to have a range of beauty products but they were pretty awful, however now they've really improved. I've previously written a review on the Brush Cleanser which you can read here, but it's safe to say I'm really enjoying the products from the P.S. range that I've tried.

The lip liners don't have any names or shades (at least I can't find any) so that's the only downside I really have to them as it's a little annoying. They're a bargain at £1 each and in my local Primark there's about 6 different shades.

The liners aren't too drying, and they have good lasting power too which in all honesty, shocked me considering the price. The two shades I have are nude shades and I sometimes wear them alone, or sometimes I apply a lipstick as well and I love the results either way.

Overall I'm really impressed with these liners and I recommend you check them out when you're next in Primark because I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Have you ever tried any of Primark's beauty range?

Sometime in July I wrote this post on my favourite lip combo for summer, and now I have a follow up post on this. I've found that following my recent beauty haul I have another favourite lip combo, I mean I can have two favourites can't I?! Anyway, here are the lip products I'm loving as well as this first combination.

I love both of these products for a simple nude look that can work for either day or night time. Whenever I've worn this look I've had a compliment on it, which is unusual for me and makeup looks! I've also taken these two on holiday with me as they're long wearing and not much effort is required either.

Have you ever tried either of these products?

At the moment I've been loving a combination of two products on my lips so I'm sharing that with you today. Recently the weather has been super hot in the UK and this combination lasts in the heat with no smudging and lasts for hours.

I simply apply my Essence lip liner first and fill in all of my lips and then I pop a little bit of Posietint over the top. By adding Posietint it adds a little moisture to my lips as well, and even though the Essence lip liners aren't drying it's still nice to have.

This combination will last hours and has held up in the heatwave we've been having the UK so for me, this is a brilliant look for summer.

What's your favourite lip product for summer?

Let's be honest, we all want kissable looking lips all the time with minimal effort required. I'm sharing with you my two favourite lip products that are my absolute favourite lip balms, and the best part is they're both under £3. I've tried so many lip balms and these are the two that work best for me.

I purchased this on a whim a few months ago and if I haven't got it in my bag I really feel lost. This is the first time in my life I've almost completely finished a lip balm so I feel that really says something. The formulation is quite thick, but it sinks into your lips quickly enough and doesn't leave your lips feeling sticky.

Carmex Original | £2.69
I know there's a few different flavours of Carmex available, but my personal favourite is just the original. I've been using Carmex for years and I always seem to have a few pots or tubes lying around. The tingly sensation you get after applying this can take a little getting used to but this product really helps my lips if they're chapped and dry.

What are your favourite lip care products?

This lip lacquer was in the 2014 Soap and Glory Christmas Gift Box which I was recently given as a birthday present from my Mum. This lip lacquer really stood out to me as I'd never even seen it before and I was excited to try it. I've tried the other Sexy Mother Pucker lip glosses and have found them hit and miss, but I really like this lip lacquer.

As you can see it has a doe foot applicator and it's super glossy, however not the kind of gloss that your hair gets stuck in thankfully. I've been wearing this as my go to daily lip product and I've got it in my handbag at all times. I love the formulation, the packaging is simple yet chic and the shade is perfect for everyday or nighttime if paired with a smokey eye.

I'm definitely going to picking up more shades, I've been eyeing up Riot.

Rimmel Moisture Renew - Vintage Pink // Topshop - Called Up

A couple of weeks ago I did a post on some new A/W lipsticks (which you can read here) and today I wanted to share with you a couple of my favourites from last year too.

I love both of these lipsticks and they're both affordable with them being under £10 each. Vintage Pink is a perfect shade for day time if you're not into wearing dark lipsticks and sometimes I'm like that too. Called Up is my go to lipstick for a night out as I know it will last and is perfect for A/W.
