Welcome to our website !
Realistic 2017 goals, let's go.

1) Learn to drive | I've been on a waiting list with two different instructors since August, but I'm still yet to have my first lesson. So it's onto instructor number 3, and I want to learn to drive this year.

2) Lose a few more lbs | I've been on and off following Slimming World for about a year and a half. It works well for me, when I stick to it! I've had a gain over Christmas, and I want to lose those few last lbs to enable myself to feel comfortable again.

3) Travel more | This one is rather cliche, and not the easiest to achieve, but even if it's travelling in England, I want to travel more.

4) Document my life more | I mean this in a personal way, keeping a diary, documenting my feelings, thoughts, day to day happinesses.

Here's to a positive and prosperous 2017 and I hope everyone has had a great start to the year so far.

In the UK we've had a 4 day weekend, and it's been so nice to have some time off to spend with my friends, family and boyfriend. Although I should have been writing my dissertation, but it's been nice to have a few days off to relax.
On Friday my boyfriend and I went to visit a local farm and it was a really lovely morning. We even got to feed to goats which was fun, and petting all the animals was great.

We then popped into a restaurant called Nonna's and had the most delicious lunch, and there's a photo of my starter above on the left. I had an Easter lunch with my family earlier on today and it was delicious, my Dad's cooking is top notch and I really miss it when I'm at uni. I also can't complain if I'm getting pigs in blankets in March!!

My boyfriend and I also popped to a local garden centre as something to do on Saturday, and had a coffee and they even gave us a mini egg with our drinks which was a cute touch. On Friday we also had our first BBQ of the year (whilst the weather was holding up in England) and it was so nice to feel summery. I loved it, and the sun being out was a perfect addition to our Easter weekend.

What have you done this weekend? I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter!

I've set myself a few goals for this month and it's going to be quite a busy one so I thought I'd share them with you.

1 | Complete 85% of my dissertation
Well this is my main goal and focus for this month, as my deadline for my dissertation is looming (20th April) I really need to get a move on. The difficulty is, because I'm conducting primary research it's taken me a long time to gain ethical approval, let alone recruit participants and analyse the data. Oh Psychology, you joy.

2 | Budget, Budget, Budget!
I'm a student, and most of the time I'm pretty okay with my money. However, from yesterday onwards I'm living off £1.40 a day until mid April which also means I'm on the biggest spending ban of my life!! What have I even spent it on?!

3 | Less procrastinating
This basically links to my first goal, however even with my dissertation looming I've been procrastinating too much recently and it needs to stop! It basically means I need to log off Netflix, probably cancel my subscription and avoid the internet until May but that's not likely to happen!

I hope you enjoyed reading my goals for March. Do you have any goals for this month?

The other day I did this blog post of my other holiday snaps and I thought I'd share a few more with you which are more scenic. I love take photos and it was nice to use my DSLR again.

On Monday I ended up having an impromptu trip to London and I won't go into why as it's personal but I thought I'd make the most of it and share a few of my photos with you. I'm not usually one to spend a lot of time in London despite living close, I just don't like how packed the trains always are and how  busy it is. Anyway, I still got some pretty photos despite only having my phone with me!

The last photo is my favourite and despite me saying I don't really like London, I'd love to go back again soon, maybe just planning it so I avoid busy trains if that's even possible!

Where would you recommend I go in London?
P.s. my 52 weeks post is still being posted today, at 12:30pm!

10/52

This week I bought some new earrings from Primark that I thought were super cute and a set of 9 was only £2 which is a bargain! They're the 2nd and 3rd earrings I'm wearing on my lobe in this picture and I'm in love with them!

Surprisingly, we've had a bit of sun this week too! It's finally looking a bit more like Spring in the UK which pleases me.

Hope you've been enjoying the nicer weather if you're in the UK!

Me and a couple of friends went to the docks today as it was such a beautiful day and we watched the sun setting over the sea and it was so calming. It's days like this that make me fall in love with my surroundings again and reminds me how beautiful the world can be.

I hope you've all enjoyed your Saturday and tomorrow I'll be putting up another 52 Weeks Project post so look out for that!

Today I'm doing the Autumn Tag which was created by Georgina from Makeup-Pixi3 and as she tags everyone who has a blog I thought I'd do it since I love Autumn.

For Autumn, what is your...

1. Favourite thing about it?
I love the change of season, although I love summer I feel far more comfortable wearing a big cosy jumper and fluffy socks rather than shorts and a strappy top. I also love the new menu that Costa brings out and I'm currently looking forward to trying the Toffee Nut Caffè Caramella which is on their Autumn menu.

2. Favourite drink?
Either a cappuccino or a salted caramel latte.

3. Favourite scent/candle?
I just love vanilla and cinnamon scents. I do need to invest in some new candles though as I've run out of any vanilla scented ones.

4. Best lipstick?
My favourite last Autumn was Strawberry Daiquiri by Bare Minerals but sadly I've lost it so I've been loving my Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple and my Natural Collection Lipstick in Raspberry.

5. Go to moisturiser?
My go to moisturiser will be my Boots Vitamin E Moisturiser as it really does moisturise my skin well and it isn't too thick that it takes forever to sink in, plus it's a bargain at under £3 as well.

6. Go to colours for the eyes?
I don't really go out of the box so to say with my eyeshadows as I tend to stay with neutrals however this year I'm determined to start using more berry-pinky toned eyeshadows such as the ones in my Sleek Storm Palette.

7. Favourite music or band/singer to listen to?
At the moment I'm loving songs by Bastille and Daughter.

8. Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)?
My favourite outfit would have to be skinny jeans, a simple t-shirt, leather jacket, a thin scarf and some boots. Comfy and cosy but also looks nice and wearable for most situations.

9. Autumn treat? (i.e. a new scarf or bag you have your eye on)
I've been eyeing up a Sleek Lipstick in the shade Vamp and MAC's eyeshadow in Cranberry.

10. Favourite place to be?
Either having a quiet drink down the pub with my friends (whilst freezing!) or in bed with a cup of coffee, wearing my pyjama bottoms and some fluffy socks whilst watching Harry Potter!

I'm just going to tag everyone who wants to do this tag and if you do link it below and I'd love to read it!
