Welcome to our website !

Since I've been home for Easter I've been going through my whole make up collection and rediscovered my Soap and Glory Glow All Out Highlighting Powder which gave me the idea for this post.

First off we have the Lid Stuff Quad in What's Nude and as you can see from the photo below, this palette is well loved. I've hit pan on two of the shades and this is always in my make up bag. It's perfect for both a day and night time look. When I first bought this a few years ago I'd not seen any other bloggers talk about it, but now it's become more popular and I'm so glad other people love it as much as I do.

As I mentioned earlier I had forgotten about the Glow All Out Luminizing Powder until I went through my collection. I picked this up a while ago on 3 for 2 and it's a beautiful pink toned highlight that just gives a beautiful subtle glow, perfect for Spring and Summer. I really think this would suit any skin tone and would look gorgeous on anyone. If you're super pale like me you can also wear this as a blush if you apply a little more.

Finally is the Lip Lacquer in Charm Offensive. I received this with my S&G Christmas Gift Box which was a birthday present from my Mum. I cannot explain how much I love this lacquer - it's just brilliant and I have to say, probably in my top 5 lip products of the year. It has amazing staying power, is a beautiful wearable pink and also it doesn't wear off in an awkward manner like some other lip products do (you know the whole line around the edge of your lips effect). I have found with all the other S&G lip glosses I own such as Mother Pucker that I don't get on with the smell and taste, however Charm Offensive is not like that at all which is a bonus.

So there we have it, my top 3 S&G makeup products. Have you tried any Soap and Glory makeup?

Let's be honest, we all want kissable looking lips all the time with minimal effort required. I'm sharing with you my two favourite lip products that are my absolute favourite lip balms, and the best part is they're both under £3. I've tried so many lip balms and these are the two that work best for me.

I purchased this on a whim a few months ago and if I haven't got it in my bag I really feel lost. This is the first time in my life I've almost completely finished a lip balm so I feel that really says something. The formulation is quite thick, but it sinks into your lips quickly enough and doesn't leave your lips feeling sticky.

Carmex Original | £2.69
I know there's a few different flavours of Carmex available, but my personal favourite is just the original. I've been using Carmex for years and I always seem to have a few pots or tubes lying around. The tingly sensation you get after applying this can take a little getting used to but this product really helps my lips if they're chapped and dry.

One thing I've always struggled with buying is a foundation that's pale enough for my skin. I'm super pale, as in "you look ill are you okay?" kind of pale (thanks to my Irish genetics). These are my 3 favourite foundations from the drugstore that do match my skin tone yay!

L'oreal True Match - C1 Rose Ivory
This is my absolute favourite out of the 3 and I know it's popular among other bloggers too. It's such a lightweight formula but still gives good coverage and a lovely finish that's not too dewy or too matte, perfect. I'm actually going into town this afternoon to repurchase this foundation as I need it back in my life!

Rimmel Match Perfection - 010 Light Porcelain
I remember finding this shade in Tesco last year and being so amazed that it was pale enough for me. Yet again this is also popular among bloggers. This was my go to foundation for months and it's the cheapest out of all 3. I sometimes have difficulty finding this shade in stores but when I do it's brilliant.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum - Vanille Clair
This is the darkest foundation out of all 3 and does match my skin tone but I have to make sure I really do blend this well. It's a slighter thicker formula than the other too and gives a bit more coverage.  As this is a gel formula it is slightly different to what I usually go for, but it leaves a beautiful finish.

What are your favourite drugstore foundations?

Warm Cosy Blankets are an absolute must. When I picture Winter I think of being sat near an open fire with a cup of hot chocolate wrapped up in a blanket. Blankets are also essential if you don't want to turn the heating on all the time and they look super cute at the end of your bed.

Following on from warm blankets, a hot water bottle is also a must. Getting into a nice warm bed is one of the best feelings when it's absolutely freezing outside.

A good lip balm is a necessity during winter because, well no one wants chapped lips! My current favourite is Blistex Moisture Max Balm and I'll be posting a review of this soon.

Fairy lights and candles are pretty much an 'essential' all year round for me, but in Winter they make a room look so much more festive. Primark have some lovely ones that are so inexpensive if you're looking for some!

Fluffy socks are definitely a winter essential, I'd wear them all the time if I could! They just make me feel so much more cosy and they're obviously so comfortable as well!

Finally my last winter essential is oversized jumpers. Nothing is better than a comfy, cosy jumper and they go with everything as well.

I also prefer winter fashion to summer fashion as I love being able to wear oversized jumpers paired with skinny jeans and boots, perfect!

What are your winter essentials? I'd love to know!
