Welcome to our website !
I haven't blogged in a while, but I've been on holiday! When I came home my mum had a couple of presents for me which was really kind. One of the things she had bought me was the Vivo Dreamy 12 Shade Colour Block Palette, it's usually £3.99 but currently on offer for £1.99 which is a bargain. I've never tried anything from Vivo Cosmetics before, even though I've seen brilliant reviews of various products.

As soon as I saw this palette, I knew I'd really like it because the colours are fairly neutral and I don't go for brights like greens, blues, oranges etc.

The majority of the shades are shimmery but I really like that and I also realised a lot of the colours are similar to those in my Sleek Storm Palette which was my first ever palette, and also probably my favourite.

This is the top row of the palette going from left to right.

Second row, again left to right. I'm really impressed that there's a really pigmented matte black shadow in this palette because they're difficult to come across in drugstore palettes.

Finally, the third row and again going from left to right.

There is only one shade I am disappointed with in this palette and it's 'Sand'. It has absolutely no pigmentation at all, where as all the other shades are so pigmented so I don't mind too much that one shade is unusable.

I am definitely going to be getting a lot of use out of this palette because it has shades that I can use for both day and night looks and I'll be using all of the shades since they're so pretty.

Have you tried anything from Vivo Cosmetics?

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to receive some PR samples from Smooch Cosmetics which is a fairly new UK make up company. I was so excited to use these products since they are in such gorgeous packaging and I've only heard good reviews on their products.

This eye shadow duo is 'Dare to Bare' and costs £9.50*

First of all the packaging is absolutely gorgeous and looks sleek and fits easily into a make up bag. There's a mirror in each eye shadow duo as well, which is always handy for on the go. The first thing I noticed when I swatched these eye shadows was that they're extremely soft to the touch and also very pigmented.

I applied these two eye shadows in the morning, ontop of a primer and then went about my day and took them off after a night out at about 3am so they do last a very long time which is always good. I apply the lighter shade all over my lid and the darker shade in my crease and it just looks so lovely for a natural look but it also looks nice for a night time look.

This beautiful eye shadow duo is 'Naughty School Girl' which is part of Smooch's new Ladies Who Lunch collection. Once again the shadows are both very pigmented and very soft to the touch. When I was wearing this duo I applied the darker shadow all over my eyelid and the lighter shade in the inner corner of my eye to brighten it up. Similarly to the last duo, this is also £9.50* for the duo which is a bargain. The packaging is the same as the other duo, with the mirror and the two shades separated in separate sections.

Both of the eye shadow duos are shimmery, but it's a subtle shimmer which doesn't look over the top and I love that. It means I can get more use out of the shadows since they are suitable for both day time and night time wear.

This blush duo is absolutely gorgeous and is in the shade 'Peachy'. It has two different shades of blush in one, the left one being the more shimmery shade and on the right is a beautiful peach shade. Both of these shades are absolutely gorgeous and mixing them together also achieves a lovely shade (the bottom swatch in the photo above). Like the eye shadow duos, this blusher duo also has a mirror in which is useful. The first thing I noticed about this duo was how pigmented it was, which is amazing for the price of £8.50*.

Overall, I extremely impressed with Smooch Cosmetics and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for new cosmetics! Also they are also offering 25% off when you spend £15 or more which is available for a limited time only.
