Welcome to our website !

This week has been fairly uneventful if I'm honest. I've worked 5 days and become obsessed with Netflix again, which I blogged about (read here). However, I have started drinking cold coffee again, which is one of my favourite things about summer. You can see how I made it by clicking here and seeing a post I made last year, it's so simple and tastes delicious.

What have you been up to this week?

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #21 | Hungover

So last night and went out and long story short, I am now feeling a little worse for wear. I am legally old enough to drink and go clubbing etc since I am 18! I apologise for the chipped nails, I really don't know how I manage to do these things after drinking but I have no energy to re-paint them just yet! I think I'm going to spend my day watching Harry Potter and drinking coffee.

What are you doing today?

Day #18 | First Day Of Freedom

So today was my first official day of my summer holidays and me and a couple of friends went out for lunch and a coffee at a local National Trust Cafe. It was so nice to be able to socialise once again as we're all finished with exams! I didn't take my good camera out with me because it's so big and so much effort to carry around, but I usually take my little Canon Powershot A2300 with me so I have a fairly decent camera.

Day #16Starbucks Discoveries Seattle Caffe Latte

As I've mentioned previously and you can probably guess from my posts herehere and here I really like drinking coffee. So when my Mum came home with a Starbucks Discoveries Seattle Caffe Latte for me I was excited to try it! I really enjoyed it and it's nice to have some cold coffee for a change rather than 'normal' warm coffee haha! Day 6 of my 30 Day Snap was a post talking about how I made my own cold coffee at home, and it's so easy, except I obviously prefer the Starbucks Discoveries Seattle Caffee Latte, and it's on offer for £1 at the moment.

I hope you're all enjoying your Sunday!

Day #9 | Sunday Treat

Anyone would think that since I have exams next week I'd be revising, but I am allowing myself to have a little break and take today more slowly. So I'm having a coffee and a freshly baked ice bun. Peaceful Sunday.

Day #6 | Homemade Cold Coffee

I have a whole week before my next exam which is a nice gap (considering I had 3 days between my two exams last time) and in 11 days I'll have finished school (well, Sixth Form) forever and I'll have a super long summer!

Anyway here's the 'recipe' for homemade cold coffee:

All you need to use is:

  • Cold Water
  • Ice
  • Coffee
  • Milk
  • Sugar/Cream (I've not tried it with cream since I don't like it  but you can still use it!)
That's all you need! It's really simple, but so refreshing for summer. I don't like a lot of milk in my coffee, so my cold coffee doesn't look particularly appealing, but it tastes really nice anyway.

Day #4 | Breakfast

Even though I said I was attempting to eat healthily, I ended up having a pain au chocolat for breakfast and a latte to accompany it!
