Welcome to our website !
I just wanted to write a little post to say Happy Christmas to all of you lovely readers! I hope you have the most magical and wonderful day tomorrow with your loved ones and eat plenty of tasty food! If you don't celebrate Christmas, then Happy Holidays and I hope you're enjoying your day too!

I'm spending my day doing last minute gift wrapping and writing cards before heading to the pub with my friends later for a drink or two. I can't believe it's almost Christmas Day again, but I'm so excited to eat a lot of delicious food tomorrow!!

The other day I posted a small Kiko haul (which you can read here) in which I featured a new nail polish that's perfect for the festive season. I thought this colour was perfect for the festive season as it's a glittery red and I'm loving it. I find my nail varnish always chips no matter what I do but after wearing this for 3 days I only have a few tiny chips so I'm pretty impressed. I definitely need to buy more of these as they're great and there's over 150 shades to choose from!

I am finally home to celebrate Christmas with my family and home friends. I technically came home on Thursday but I spent the weekend in Verona with my boyfriend which was amazing (I will post about that soon). I've had a stressful last few weeks at uni recently as I've had deadlines after deadlines after deadlines. Now I can take a break for a few days before preparing for January!!

Anyway, here are some of my favourite things about coming home for Christmas...

- Nothing will beat coming home to a warm house and a Christmas tree in the living room
- Being surrounded by friends and family
- The heating is almost always on
- Eating chocolate all day is acceptable because it's Christmas
- Watching Harry Potter on TV (even though i have all the DVD's there's something special about watching them on TV at Christmas)
- SO much food!!!
- Being able to cuddle my cats (and not ask my Mum to send me photos daily)

I'm excited to share more Christmas themed posts with you all and now I have access to my DSLR the photos will be better quality thank goodness.

What are your plans for this week?

I adore Christmas as it's my favourite time of the year, so today I'm sharing my favourite films with you. Some of them aren't typically Christmas films, but I feel they're still fitting.
  1. The Holiday
  2. Love Actually
  3. Harry Potter
  4. ELF
  5. Santa Claus: The Movie
  6. A Christmas Carol
  7. Christmas With The Kranks

I'm sure some of you will be wondering why I missed off Home Alone, well that's because I've never seen it! I'm sure there's a couple of oth

What are your favourite Christmas films?

It's coming up to my favourite time of year...Christmas! I love all of the lights and the cosy evenings in with blankets and candles and all of the Christmas themed drinks and food.
I'm quite stressed with uni work at the moment as it's my final year (you're probably bored of hearing that by now) and I can't wait to go home to my parents and boyfriend and friends for a while.
I'm also excited to see my cats and be in a house with heating - a luxury I can't really afford as a student!

I have already planned my blog posts for this month so look out for those as I'm quite excited about those.

What are you looking forward to in December?

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5

I'm feeling really festive already and so I've been browsing online for Christmas jumpers, I mean who doesn't love a good Christmas jumper?! I love them all from the garish and out-there to the subtle but festive. So I've compiled a wishlist of all my favourites.

Are you buying a new Christmas jumper this year?

I hope you've all enjoyed your Christmas and Boxing Day if you celebrate Christmas! I know I've eaten far too much and I still have a pile of chocolate left and a satsuma that I get in my stocking every year! I've already done a what I got for Christmas post which you can read here if you want to!

I can't believe I've actually kept up with this years 52 Weeks Project, I'm quite impressed with myself! For this week's edition I couldn't just pick one photo so I've added a few photos of my Christmas day for you all to see.

My Dad is a brilliant cook and so we had the most delicious starter and of course, Christmas dinner! However, I was far too full to have pudding! I wish that pigs in blankets were eaten all year round, I may try and convince my Dad to do this!

How has your week been?

Sensationail Deluxe Starter Kit (thanks to my brother for buying me this!!), floral mug, chocolate, candle, warm socks, Carmex, bath bits and Christmas pjs.

Beauty box, although I'm not sure where my Mum got this from it has a CK eyeshadow, Nails Inc nail polish, Elemis dry body oil, CID waterproof lip liner and Bellapierre eyeshadow!

I thought this coin was a super special present and both me and my brother got one after my Mum and Dad both recently went to London and saw the poppy display.

My new kitten Dora's first Christmas and you can also see my amazing new onesie!

Finally, my Mum bought me this really sweet bracelet that made me cry when I opened it. It says "we've been Mother and Daughter right from the start...and a friendship we share is a gift from the heart" which is absolutely beautiful.

I am so grateful for everything I received and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas too. If you've done a post like this link it below as I love seeing what other people get!

I read this on MilkBubbleTea the other week and thought I'd do it myself as I'm really excited for Christmas already.

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
I love ELF, Love Actually, The Holiday (I think of it as a Christmas movie), The Santa Clause and A Christmas Carol (2009 version).

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
I always open them on Christmas morning! I start with opening my stocking and then the other presents after. I used to open them at about 5am which didn't please my parents!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I have a few favourites! I remember Father Christmas coming round on Christmas eve as I was a child and that was always so exciting. Another is waking up in the morning and finding that 'Father Christmas' had left footprints leading downstairs to the tree, it was always so magical.

4. favourite festive food?
Sausages wrapped in bacon and chocolate oranges, not together of course!

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?
When I was younger I was given Rainbow Art and I was totally obsessed with it. Does anyone else remember Rainbow Art? This year I've already had my Christmas present early which is a cushion with the favourite photo of my cat on it, who sadly died over summer.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
The smell of a real Christmas tree and cinnamon candles.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
There aren't any specific Christmas Eve traditions anymore, when I was little it was putting a mince pie and carrot out the night before now it's just spending time together!

8. What tops your tree?

For as long as I can remember, it's been an angel. I used to put her on the top of the tree when I was younger and there was always a struggle when we had a real Christmas tree if it was too tall sometimes the angel would move a little further down the tree!

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I used to ask for basically everything in the Argos catalogue. I always used to ask for a little sister, which my Mum and Dad never agreed to so it's never happened!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

I love spending time with my family and friends and of course all of the food. Now I'm at uni I'm so excited to go home to a nice warm house as right now we haven't put the heating on, student living!

If you do this tag please let me know, I'd love to read it!

This week I had my first Christmas Starbucks of the year and it really did make my day! I opted for a Toffee Nut Latte which was my favourite last year and tastes just as good this year. I'm already getting so excited about Christmas, especially with this years John Lewis Christmas Advert being aired!

Have you seen the John Lewis advert this year?

I really enjoy reading these sorts of posts, don't get me wrong I do love reading beauty posts but these are always more personal (and I'm a bit nosey!).

Christmas Coffee // Tacky Christmas jumper (Primark) // New glasses
Black eye ** // Christmas tree // Oxford
Erm...interesting knickers in Primark // Festive Costa // Quiet night down the pub

What have you been up to lately?

** Also just to clarify the black eye is my own fault and it was alcohol induced (I walked into a wall because I was too busy on my phone haha!). Drink responsibly and don't end up with a bruised eye for Christmas day like me! Although I've been told it looks like I'm just wearing purple eyeshadow, that was until it's now all yellow and gross, oops!

I've finally come back home home for Christmas and I have a few weeks off uni, and in all honestly even though I love uni, I'm loving being home. Anyway I haven't been posting very much but hopefully next semester I'll get into a routine!

My parents waited until I was home before we put the Christmas tree up and now I'm getting excited for Christmas.

Sadly we don't buy a real Christmas tree anymore because my kitten thinks it's fun to jump onto it and all the needles end up all over the living room! I still love having a Christmas tree up anyway.

Getting in the Christmas spirit with a festive hat and a few little decorations around my room.

Also since I've been home I went to Oxford to do some Christmas shopping, which resulted in me buying myself a few things and not getting much Christmas shopping done for anyone else! It was obviously very busy but it was still nice to visit Oxford again.

Are you prepared for Christmas or are you rushing around like me?

I can't be the only one who gets excited about Christmas as soon as we've passed Bonfire night?! I absolutely love Christmas and I'm already getting ready to decorate my room.

Cappuccino // Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte // Costa Salted Caramel Latte

I absolutely love the Christmas and seasonal menus at Starbucks and Costa and I also bought the cutest mug from Poundland so I can feel festive whilst drinking my cappuccinos in my room. Having a festive mug just makes hot drinks taste that much better. This owl mug from John Lewis is also really cute and only £5.

Fairy lights or actual Christmas lights are a definite must have for the festive season as they just brighten up a room (quite literally) and they also make the room look more cosy. You can get 100 fairy lights from Tesco for only £6 which is a bargain.

Spending a day in bed all snuggled up with a hot drink watching my favourite films such as Harry Potter and The Holiday.

Lighting candles to make my room smell like Christmas. Even though I'm not allowed candles in my uni room I'll be lighting candles in my room when I'm at home on my Christmas break.

What are your festive essentials?

These are just a few of the photos from Christmas Day!

The card my brother made my Mum// A few of my favourite DVDs I got// Smokey in a Christmas hat
The nicest sweets ever// Soap and Glory Best of All Set// Slight Soap and Glory addiction

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

I just wanted to make a quick post saying Happy Christmas and I hope you're all having a good day with loved ones!

I've used the same questions that Abbie used in her Christmas tag since and hers was the first Christmas tag I've seen so far.

(Image from weheartit)
1. Favourite Christmas film?
As odd as this may seem, I haven't watch many Christmas films, but I do love Bridget Jones and Love Actually.

2. Favourite Christmas song?
It definitely has to be 'Fairytale of New York' by The Pogues. It's so catchy and whenever I hear it, I instantly feel festive.

3. Real or fake Christmas tree?
We used to have a real Christmas tree for as long as I can remember, until a few years ago when my cat suddenly had a real interest in attacking the tree. So we decided it was best to buy a fake one and not have to worry so much, however I got a new kitten a few months ago and I have a feeling he's going to attack all the decorations on the tree and the tree itself, so it's better we have a fake one! I do miss the smell of a real Christmas tree though.

4. Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?
It depends on whether we are seeing extended family on Christmas day or not, if we are I do dress up for Christmas otherwise I prefer to stay in my PJs. This year it's only going to be my immediate family for Christmas day so I think I'll be staying in my onsie or Christmas pjs all day!

5. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
I've always opened them on Christmas morning, I don't know anyone who opens them on Christmas eve. We always go to church on Christmas Eve anyway, and I used to wait for Father Christmas to drive down our street in his 'house' which was always one of the best bits. I'd find it weird opening my presents on Christmas eve.

6. Favourite Christmas treat?

7. Show a childhood photo of you at Christmas!
I'm not quite sure how old I am here, but it was at one my Dad's work Christmas parties. I don't look overly impressed with meeting Father Christmas. Back in the days when everyone used Polaroids too!

8. When do you start getting excited for Christmas?
I used to get excited so much earlier, but now in some ways I almost dread Christmas holidays purely because it means I have January exam modules not long after. But I usually get excited for Christmas in the middle of November, so not early at all compared to some people.

9. If you could kiss one celeb under the mistletoe who would it be?
Ooh, I can't pick one so I'll name a few. Jack O'Connell, Francisco Lachowski, Gerard Butler or Channing Tatum. That's probably too many, but I can't pick!

If you want to do this tag, feel free as I tag anyone and everyone!
