Welcome to our website !
I was thinking about how much money I spend on makeup and beauty products but sometimes I don't finish them fully before throwing them out. My Mum told me about this tip a little while ago to get the most out of my products, so I thought I'd share it with you today.

It's super simple, all you need is a little travel pot and a product in a tube that you think you've finished.
1) All you do is squeeze as much out of the product as you can into the little pot.
2) Next of all you'll need to cut the product in half and then you will see that there's still so much product left in the middle and on the sides. I used a spoon to make sure I got out all the concealer out but you can use your fingers if you prefer.

I've found that once you cut the tube open there's so much more product in there that would have ended up in the bin previously. I do this with so many products now including; shampoo bottles, face washes, primer, concealer and some foundations.

Have you ever tried this technique?

I may have only posted my last weeks edition of 52 Weeks Project, but here's this weeks edition. Ive had a super busy week but I also had the most delicious pulled chicken bun with chips. I also have a deadline next Wednesday so I'm making sure all my posts are scheduled so I don't have to worry.

I'm going out for lunch soon with my friends and I'm absolutely starving. How has your week been?

16/52

I've been MIA this past week and I apologise. I've moved back to uni for my last term of this year, and it's scary to think I've almost finished my degree. I had the best time at home which included seeing friends, family and eating lots of delicious food.

This last term is going to be super busy, this week I've already had a presentation and a deadline. Saying that, the weather has been beautiful and there's nothing better than having a cocktail in the sun on a rooftop bar.

How is your week going? My usual beauty posts are returning this week, so look out for those!

I have gone back and forth between liquid liners for years now and I always go back to Collection's Felt Tip Liner. It's so affordable and I feel Collection is an underrated brand sometimes, apart from them being well known for the infamous lasting perfection concealer. Anyway, I cannot fault this liner and I have to say I feel it does last for 24 hours too. Sometimes I do forget to take my makeup off and so I can say this does last for a long time without smudging. I personally prefer felt tip liners to create a cat flick as I find them easier to control.

I also love how the tip of this eyeliner is fairly thin so you can create a thin line if you want to, or you can angle the pen and create a thicker line. I really cannot fault this eyeliner as I've repurchased it about 6 or 7 times now which is saying something! I store this upside down in a jar so it doesn't dry out as quickly.

What's your favourite eyeliner?

Since I've been home for Easter I've been going through my whole make up collection and rediscovered my Soap and Glory Glow All Out Highlighting Powder which gave me the idea for this post.

First off we have the Lid Stuff Quad in What's Nude and as you can see from the photo below, this palette is well loved. I've hit pan on two of the shades and this is always in my make up bag. It's perfect for both a day and night time look. When I first bought this a few years ago I'd not seen any other bloggers talk about it, but now it's become more popular and I'm so glad other people love it as much as I do.

As I mentioned earlier I had forgotten about the Glow All Out Luminizing Powder until I went through my collection. I picked this up a while ago on 3 for 2 and it's a beautiful pink toned highlight that just gives a beautiful subtle glow, perfect for Spring and Summer. I really think this would suit any skin tone and would look gorgeous on anyone. If you're super pale like me you can also wear this as a blush if you apply a little more.

Finally is the Lip Lacquer in Charm Offensive. I received this with my S&G Christmas Gift Box which was a birthday present from my Mum. I cannot explain how much I love this lacquer - it's just brilliant and I have to say, probably in my top 5 lip products of the year. It has amazing staying power, is a beautiful wearable pink and also it doesn't wear off in an awkward manner like some other lip products do (you know the whole line around the edge of your lips effect). I have found with all the other S&G lip glosses I own such as Mother Pucker that I don't get on with the smell and taste, however Charm Offensive is not like that at all which is a bonus.

So there we have it, my top 3 S&G makeup products. Have you tried any Soap and Glory makeup?

Last week I blogged about my top 5 lipsticks for Spring and I thought today I'd share with you my favourite nail polishes. I will admit, usually I only wear a burgundy or red polish throughout the whole year and ignore spring trends but this year it's been different. I've been wearing more colour polishes and I'm loving it. Barry M's Strawberry Ice Cream was a favourite of mine when I was in secondary school and I fell in love with it again. The only downside is because it's a pastel shade it does require a good 2 or 3 coats. Next up is the polish that I'm wearing right now, Rimmel's Rose Libertine. It's just a perfect coral pink shade that just looks so feminine and beautiful. It dries super quick too which is always an added bonus.
MUA's U Rock is a shade that unfortunately isn't available anymore but a lilac shade is perfect for Spring. It just brightens up any look and isn't too overpowering. My final pick is from Miss Sporty's Clubbing Colours range. Green Lemmon 330 is a gorgeous shade and it has a wide brush which makes application so much faster.

What are your favourite nail polishes for Spring?

This week has been another super busy week for me. On Wednesday some of my family from Australia came over and it was so lovely to see them and catch up and on Friday I saw my family from Essex and we all went out for lunch (which was delicious, and pictured above). I've also been attempting to de-clutter and tidy my room which is going quite well.

What have you got up to this week?
