Welcome to our website !

I've had this beauty in my collection for a few months now and I've been meaning to write a review about it. I actually purchased a few Freedom Makeup bits when the brand first launched, however I'm yet to write a review on any of the products despite using them frequently.

I've had this palette in my makeup bag since I bought it and it's become a go-to palette for me. Although it's a little smaller than other palettes I have so it means you don't get as much product, it makes it more makeup bag friendly.

As the title suggests it is a matte palette predominantly but there is one shimmery highlighter shade in the palette too which is great for brightening the inner eye. I also find these shadows to be pigmented and not chalky and there is minimal fall out. The best part about this palette is that it's so affordable at only £2.50.

A couple of weeks ago I made a quick post here saying that on the MUA (Make Up Academy) website they were having up to 60% off FashionistA products. I knew straight away that I wanted to try a few things since I'd seen good reviews for quite a few products and I'd not got round to buying anything yet. So I thought I'd do a little haul and show you what I got.

Although I've not seen any reviews on this I bought the FashionistA Powder Compact in fair because I needed a powder I could take out with me that wasn't expensive like my MAC MSF Natural. I paid £3 for the FashionistA Powder Compact.

I do absolutely love my ELF Eyebrow Kit but I wanted to try something new to try. I've seen quite a few bloggers mention this, and since this FashionistA Eyebrow Kit was only £3.50 instead of £7, I thought if I didn't like it I hadn't lost out on much money.

Finally, I was most excited about building my own Custom Design Palette. I paid £2 for the actual palette and you can choose between red and black, but I chose black because I personally preferred it.

On the left is Butterscotch blusher which was only £1.65 and on the right is Cinnamon which was also £1.65.

On the left is a bronzer in Rome and on the right is an eye shadow in the shade Nude Glimmer and once again both of these were £1.65 each.

I'm really happy with the products I bought and I'm currently trying them out and in the near future I plan to review them for you.

I'd seen a lot of people talking about how much they love the Soap and Glory Lidstuff Eyeshadow in What's Nude so I thought I'd try it since I only really wear neutral eyeshadows. It's £10 from Boots but there's usually offers on for make up since it's almost Christmas.

Three out of the four shadows are matte, which I personally prefer but it is nice to have a shimmer eyeshadow in there too. Recently I've been applying my ELF Eyelid Primer first and then Pink T all over the lid and Mudhoney in the outer crease. It just makes my eyes look a little brighter and nicer.

The swatches above are done without using a primer, and they're still really pigmented. So with a primer, they look even better. However I would say the top two shades (Vanilla and Pink T) are very slightly chalky, but that's the only 'downside' of these shadows. I wouldn't stop wearing them because of this, and it is barely noticeable, but it's something that might really bother others.

The packaging is very simple, but doesn't look cheap. It's easy for travelling since it's compact which means taking one palette that can create a few looks, rather than four separate eyeshadows.

What are your favourite neutral eyeshadows?

In a blog sale a few months ago, this palette caught my eye and I thought I'd try it out since I'd never had any Urban Decay products and I've always heard good reviews about them. I don't think this palette is available anymore, so that might not be useful but you can buy it from here on Amazon

(From top to bottom - Flipside, Midnight cowboy, Stray Dog and Oil Sick)

First of all the palette is pretty to look at, as ridiculous as that may sound, to me the packaging of products is very important. There is a mirror at the top of the palette too which can come in handy. The only thing I don't particularly like about this palette is that the eyeshadow does get over the rest of the palette, but that's not a massive issue.

I can say I absolutely love this palette, the shadows are so pigmented, and in the swatch I hadn't used a primer, so if you use a primer they're even better. I will be honest, I don't think I'm going to get much use out of Flipside however, the rest of the colours I will use a lot. If I'm in a rush I'll just apply Stray Dog all over my lid and add a bit of eyeliner and mascara and I'm done for eye make up.

I would recommend buying this, and I'll definitely look into purchasing more Urban Decay products in the future.
