Since becoming a student back in September I've had to be more careful with what I spend my money on as sadly food has to be a priority over buying the latest make up products on the market. However, it doesn't stop me browsing the Boots website often and adding things to my wish list. These are currently the products I want to get my hands on and try (apart from the Sleek Storm Palette which I already own but it's been so loved I need a new one)

52 Weeks Project | Week 7

I'm late posting week 7 due to my work load being crazy last week and this week but hopefully my posts will become more frequent as I've got lots planned! 

Anyway, the photo from week 7 is just some fairy lights at a local club which just looked really pretty. 

Drugstore Beauty Haul | Boots

I didn't intend on buying any new beauty products for a while but I had a bit of time to kill before my lecture started so I ended up buying a few beauty bits from Boots and one product from Asda. 

George Face Primer | £3

I'm always on the look out for a new affordable primer since it's something I wear everyday no matter what. I saw this on sale and since it's only £3 I thought I may as well try it, although I haven't read any reviews on it yet I'm still looking forward to trying it.

Maybelline Baby Lips - Cherry Me | £2.99

I know I'm slow at trying the Baby Lips but I've read mixed reviews and I know they hit the beauty world by storm when they arrived in the UK quite some time ago so I thought I'd give them a go. I've only bought this one so far, and although it's not very pigmented it's really moisturising which I need at the moment.

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint - Perpetual Plum | £5.99

This was another impulse buy that I hadn't read any reviews on but when I swatched it I loved the colour and so decided to try it out. I'm preferring lip stains and tints at the moment due to the longer staying power and on a night out re-applying lipstick can be quite an annoyance. 

Collection Volumising Mascara | £3.99 // Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner | £2.99

Whilst browsing for a new eyeliner the Volumising Mascara caught my eye as I've never seen it before and I'm always trying out new mascaras and for only £3.99 I couldn't resist.

I've heard so many good things about the Fast Stroke Eyeliner and my current liquid liner had run out so I thought for £2.99 I couldn't really go wrong. I have tried this and so far I am loving it and I have a feeling it could become a favourite very soon!

Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream (Cotton Candy) | Review

Recently I re-discovered the Collection Cream Puff Lip Creams and I remembered how much I loved them.

The packaging is simple yet chic at the same time and it has a doe foot applicator which makes it so easy to apply to the lips. It also has the most amazing smell of vanilla! It applies so easily and just glides onto the lips and you can do it in a hurry without needing a mirror which is always a bonus. Another great thing is the price tag, it's only £2.99 which is an absolute bargain for this as it has such good staying power for a drugstore product of this price.

Cotton Candy is such a beautiful 'my lips but better' shade as well which is great for everyday wear or even a subtle lip for a night out if you're matching it with a smokey eye. It's not drying either which has been a life saver in this weather we've been having in England. 

There are 4 shades available so I'm definitely going to have to pick another one up next time in Boots!

This week I celebrated my 19th birthday and I've had such a good week! I also went to Sprinkles Gelato (bottom picture) and it was absolutely beautiful but so filling.
