30 Day Snap | Compilation Of My Photos

So I made it through the 30 Day Snap which  Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with!  I am so glad I did it and stuck to it because I was worried that I'd give up, but I didn't!

I thought I'd make a compilation of all of my photos.

Did you take part in the 30 Day Snap or are you interested in photography like me?

30 Day Snap #30 | Final Day Of 30 Day Snap!

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, and I managed to stick to it!

Day #30 | Final Day Of 30 Day Snap!

It's the last day of Louise's 30 Day Snap and I've made it! I was a day late a couple of times when I blogged my photo for the day, but I've managed to do it and stick to it!

Before I started the challenge I didn't think I'd manage to get through it because I had exams that lasted until the middle of the month and although it was a bit stressful at times knowing I had to take a photo and blog about it, it was do-able. I'm glad I've done it because I am really interested in photography so it made me take time to appreciate things around me and what I do everyday.

Did you take part in the 30 Day Snap

Also if you don't already make sure you follow Louise's blog (Sprinkle Of Glitter) as she blogs frequently and her posts are brilliant.

Nails Of The Day (NOTD 002) | Revlon Stawberry Cream and Butter London West End Wonderland

Now the weather in the UK has improved slightly I wanted to start painting my nails with more summery colours to match the weather.

Today I have Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Stawberry Cream as a base colour on all my nails and then Butter London's West End Wonderland on my ring fingers. It's a super pretty combination that is summery but also has some glitter as well, which I think is the perfect combination!

The Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Stawberry Cream is the first scented polish I've ever tried, and I am quite impressed. It still has the nail polish scent when you open the bottle, however once it's applied to your nails it does smell like strawberry laces. Although this scent only lasts for a few hours it's still a fun bonus for a nail polish. I do love the colour of the nail polish, but one coat was not enough at all. After one coat of polish it was extremely streaky and looked horrible, but after a second coat and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat it looks a lot better. These Revlon Scented Polishes are available in Boots for £6.49 and are limited edition and have a few other shades in the range.

I decided to apply Butter London West End Wonderland on an accent nail just to make my nails a little bit more fun. It has a lovely formula and dried quite quickly as well. It is £10 which is a bit steep for a nail polish, however I'd really consider purchasing another Butter London nail polish because the quality is great and the shade range is also brilliant.

This is the end result of my nails. I absolutely love them and I'll definitely be wearing this combination of polishes more!

Have you tried any of the Revlon Scented Polishes?

p.s you can follow me on Bloglovin here and I have a tutorial post here on how to move over to Bloglovin which is super simple!

30 Day Snap #29 | Feeling Summery

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #29 | Feeling Summery

Today it was nice weather and although I was working all day, it was nice for the sun to be out. Everyone seems to be in a much better mood when the sun is out, which can be quite rare in England, but it's pleasant when it happens!

How have your spent your sunny Saturday?

30 Day Snap #28 | Singing In A Bin

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #28 | Singing In A Bin

So whilst in Cambridge I was walking down a street and walked past a man sat inside a bin, singing and playing guitar - not the usual way to spend your day, but the man seemed to be enjoying himself!

Have you ever seen anything as strange as this?!

30 Day Snap #27 | Strawberries For Desert

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #27Strawberries For Desert

Strawberries are my absolute favourite, always have been. So when I had them for desert yesterday I was in my element (a bit sad, I know!).

What's your favourite desert?

30 Day Snap #26 | Fudge Kitchen In Cambridge

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #26Fudge Kitchen In Cambridge

I am now a little behind on the 30 Day Snap because I was in Cambridge for two days, but I took photos whilst I was there (918 to be precise - is it obvious I like taking photos of everything?!).

Whilst I was there I went to the Fudge Kitchen which sells the most amazing fudge I have ever tasted, honestly! You can watch the fudge being made if you arrive at the right time, and whilst you're waiting in the queue you have the chance to try some fudge samples - perfect! All of the staff are lovely, every time I've been to the Fudge Kitchen they have been so friendly and it makes you want to return. My family and I ended up getting a box of fudge to bring back and I can't wait to have some. If you'd like to try some of the Fudge Kitchen fudge but you don't live near Cambridge and won't have a chance to visit soon, you can also build a box online and have it posted to you, which is perfect. They also have a Facebook page in case you're interested!

Have you ever visited the Fudge Kitchen?

30 Day Snap #25 | Beautiful Finds In The Garden

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #25 Beautiful Finds In The Garden

I'm going away tomorrow and instead of packing and getting my things ready I was walking around my garden taking photos for this!

What have you done today?

30 Day Snap #24 | Summer Evenings

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #24 | Summer Evenings

I'm a day behind right now because I was out all day and didn't have any time to post. I love summer evenings when it's slightly chilly (good old English weather) but you're not wrapped up in layers and layers of clothes and blankets. It's nice to finally be able to relax and enjoy the holidays.

Are you enjoying the more summery weather recently?

Drugstore Beauty Wishlist | June 2013

I've been eyeing a few things up from the drugstore/high street (whichever you choose to call it!) for a while now and I thought I'd post what I'm looking to buy.

one // two // three // four // five

I think that drugstore brands are bringing out some really good products recently and hopefully I'll get to pick some up soon!

Is there anything you've got your eye on at the moment?

30 Day Snap #23 | That 'Sunday Feeling'

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #23That 'Sunday Feeling'

For as long as I can remember, I've disliked Sundays. Maybe it's because it usually meant I had school the next day, but now I'm on summer I still get that Sunday feeling. This picture has no real relevance to my day, but I didn't know what else to post!

Do you enjoy Sundays? What have you done today?

30 Day Snap #22 | Painting My Nails

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

(From left to right: Coral, Bright Pink, Fushia, Raspberry)

Day #22 | Painting My Nails

So today hasn't been particularly eventful. I worked 9-5 as always on a Saturday and now I'm home and the weather is awful so I'm going to paint my nails and then watch Harry Potter whilst drinking some Coffee. I love the Barry M Nail Paints so I shall choose one from the photo above to paint my nails with today.

How are you spending your Saturday?

30 Day Snap #21 | Hungover

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #21 | Hungover

So last night and went out and long story short, I am now feeling a little worse for wear. I am legally old enough to drink and go clubbing etc since I am 18! I apologise for the chipped nails, I really don't know how I manage to do these things after drinking but I have no energy to re-paint them just yet! I think I'm going to spend my day watching Harry Potter and drinking coffee.

What are you doing today?

Make Up Haul | FashionistA

A couple of weeks ago I made a quick post here saying that on the MUA (Make Up Academy) website they were having up to 60% off FashionistA products. I knew straight away that I wanted to try a few things since I'd seen good reviews for quite a few products and I'd not got round to buying anything yet. So I thought I'd do a little haul and show you what I got.

Although I've not seen any reviews on this I bought the FashionistA Powder Compact in fair because I needed a powder I could take out with me that wasn't expensive like my MAC MSF Natural. I paid £3 for the FashionistA Powder Compact.

I do absolutely love my ELF Eyebrow Kit but I wanted to try something new to try. I've seen quite a few bloggers mention this, and since this FashionistA Eyebrow Kit was only £3.50 instead of £7, I thought if I didn't like it I hadn't lost out on much money.

Finally, I was most excited about building my own Custom Design Palette. I paid £2 for the actual palette and you can choose between red and black, but I chose black because I personally preferred it.

On the left is Butterscotch blusher which was only £1.65 and on the right is Cinnamon which was also £1.65.

On the left is a bronzer in Rome and on the right is an eye shadow in the shade Nude Glimmer and once again both of these were £1.65 each.

I'm really happy with the products I bought and I'm currently trying them out and in the near future I plan to review them for you.

Have you tried anything from FashionistA?

30 Day Snap #20 | Typical Weather For An English Summer

I decided to take part in the 30 Day Snap which Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) came up with and she invited all of her readers to join in, so I'm going to try and do it and stick to it.

Day #20Typical Weather For An English Summer

Compared to yesterday when it was the hottest day of the year, today is the typical English summer weather - rain and lots of it! I've spent my day blogging and writing up posts one is a review of my favourite summer razor and the other is about the move to Bloglovin and a tutorial. I'm meant to be going out this evening but if it keeps raining like this, wearing heels will be dangerous!

How have you spent your day?

Silky smooth legs for summer | Gilette Venus and Olay Razor Review

About a month ago I was wandering around Boots during my lunch time and I noticed that there was a new razor on the shelf that I'd never seen before. It immediately caught my eye because it had bright colourful packaging and it claimed to help replenish your skin whilst shaving, so I thought I'd give it a go. I know this isn't a beauty post as such but most of us deal with body hair that we don't want, and I don't like going au naturale but I obviously don't mind what other people do since it's their body!

Anyway, I'm not a fan of disposable razors because I have quite sensitive skin and I always end up razor burn no matter what products I use to prevent it, so I always opt for a razor with replaceable blades. I've tried various different razors and I've never had any problems with the ones I use but I thought I'd try the Gillette Venus and Olay Razor since it was also on offer at half price for £5.49 (and currently still is if you're interested).

I have been using this razor for a while now so I am certain that I love it. I'd definitely say it's my favourite razor I've ever tried and this is for a few reasons. Firstly, it has such a good grip and yes I realise that my sound a little silly, but you don't want to be dropping your razor whilst you're in the middle of shaving your legs. Secondly the moisture bars really do work! As I've mentioned I have quite sensitive skin and I wanted something that would give me silky smooth legs and not give me razor burn (because that's never pretty when you're wearing a cute summer dress).

As you can see the moisture bars are quite large which is great because it means I can be lazy and not use a shaving cream which saves time as well! This is definitely going to be my 'go to' razor from now on as it's brilliant.

The replacement razor heads are £10.99 and are definitely worth it. I really would recommend this razor to everyone to help you get silky smooth legs for summer!

Have you tried this razor?
