ELF Translucent Matte Powder

A while ago I purchase the ELF Translucent Matte Powder for £3.75 and I've only just got round to trying it. I regret not using it sooner, since I can see this becoming a favourite. It does exactly what it says in the title , however the only 'negative' comment about this is that it isn't actually translucent. It's a tiny bit orange, but it is probably fine for other people, I am just ridiculously pale.

I really like the packaging as usual and I like that it has a mirror too, it's always useful. Like I said before it definitely does make the skin more matte (if that's the right way to word it?!). I'll be using this a lot more and I'm glad I have this in my collection. For the price I'd say it's a must have in my collection and I'll definitely re-purchase this.

Small MUA Haul (Including MUA Undressed Palette)

About a week ago I made an order from the MUA online store and I only purchased a few items but I thought I'd do a haul anyway. They were having an offer for £1 off selected items and so I took advantage of this.

So the first item is their gel eyeliner which is a new addition to their range and since I needed a new gel eyeliner I thought I'd try this and only for £2 (£3 usually, but with the £1 off offer - which is still running).

I also bought an eyebrow pencil which was £1. However, the only downside about this I would say is that there are only two shade options, blonde and brunette. It seems very pigmented so far though, and I'll be trying it out soon.

This mascara was the main reason I wanted to make an order in the first place. I was in need of a new mascara and didn't want to spend a lot of money on it, considering I recently bought MAC msf powder. Anyway I'll being doing a separate post on what I think of this mascara but it was only £2 and I got it in black.

Finally I got round to ordering the new Undressed Palette which everyone has been talking about. It is meant to be a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette and instead of paying £36 for it, I got a cheaper version for only £3. Anyway so far it looks like I'll get a lot of use out of this palette as it's fairly neutral and has some beautiful colours in it.

Sleek 'Rose Gold' Blush

Whilst I was on holiday I finally bought another Sleek product, but this time I bought one of their blushes. I bought the shade Rose Gold because everyone seems to love it!

As you can see it is quite shimmery which I'm not usually a fan of, however it's not overdone. It looks so pretty on the cheeks and gives a nice glow.

I bought it from Superdrug for £4.29 which isn't expensive considering it's 8g. It has a mirror as well in the lid, which will be useful. I do think I'll be wearing this a lot this summer (well, what's left of it).

Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural

Yesterday I bought my first ever MAC product that wasn't from a blogsale. I've wanted to buy something for ages but I wanted something I'd use everyday and that I'd get good use out of. I bought the Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in light since I am very pale. It was £21 but everyone else say it's worth it!

I haven't used it as of yet, but when I have I'll definitely do a review. Like I've already said I do have high hopes for this and especially as it's summer, having a good powder is vital.

It was the first time I'd been to the Lakes and it was so beautiful I want to go back! Also if you ever go to Coniston, buy some of the fudge, it's amazing!

A few holiday pictures Part I

So I've not posted for a couple of weeks due to being on two holidays, one with family and one with friends. I'll go back to beauty blogging once I feel better and not quite so bed bound! When I went away with family I managed to get tonsillitis and feel awful, and now I'm home I'm ridiculously achey and can barely move, but I'll keep blogging!

Anyway, this will obviously be a picture heavy post. The first photos are from Dorset, which is such a beautiful place to be.

These are all completely un-edited. The last photo is my favourite I think, I want to go back.

The deer was so cute, it was always walking around! And it had a little baby too aw.

I'm home!

Sorry I haven't posted in almost 2 weeks, I went away with my family and then to the Lake District with friends. Once I've sorted out all of my clothes and bags and everything else I've made a mess off I shall be posting again. Sorry it's taken me so long!
